Were in the same situation :) I never played the first two either, and I still managed to really enjoy uncharted 3 :D Give it a go

You should start with the first one. It's the game that introduces most of the characters, and I found the island setting to be the best one in the series. Plus it's the only game that has Eddy motherfucking Raja. UC2 is ful of references and callbacks to the first one. I assume it's the same way with 3.
You can also beat the first 2 games in a week. They're not really that long.

hm that does sound like the smart choice, i would enjoy it more if i got to know who the characters are :]

Ratchet and Clank 3 without any armour whatsoever. Turns out it's pretty easy to avoid enemy fire when health preservation is a top priority, because you have to worry about only being able to take two hits before you die. 3 with the Nano-pak. Just started Challenge mode, managed to avoid taking any damage from Dr. Nefarious, but the TV's been stolen. FML.

Cards and Hugs abound
Beat Killzone 3 on the Veteran difficulty (second hardest setting). I regret not playing that game for a while. I forgot that I really enjoyed it, even the multiplayer.
And my holy quest in Skyrim has been completed. I finally found all eight the masks, and was awarded the ninth from the shrine. I think I'm done with it until some DLC is released for it.

Just beat Saints Row The Third, well the story line any way...I still have all the tedious side missions and general other things to do in there.
