If you're fond of traditional decks but you're worried of getting smashed by synchros and exceeds , I would strongly recommend monarchs

If you guys want a 101 on synchro combo decks that isn't super DERP, PM me and I'll show you how to play a man's Synchro HERP DERP deck.
Edit: Just doing this for any new players that want to try, but only recently got into the game. I'm all for helping new players.

[font=verdana][color=green]I'll see what deck I can make. I haven't played this game in months, so I'll need to look through my cards, as well as my brothers', just to see what cards take my fancy. I won't bother with a side-deck though.

Yeah what Arcanite said, a side deck is what really changes the momentum of a duel. Especially if you get paired up against your deck's archetype's bad match up.

Everyones bad matchup is fucking gravekeepers.Gravekeepers arent that hard to stop if you've gotta solid toolset.

GK's are unpredictable ... well there's always the chance of first turn royal tribute which would probably fuck you up... but you can try to side in some element of surprise like malefic cyber end dragon / malefic stardust which can prove useful since they set the field up for you anyway.., another good card is rai oh to stop commandant and recruiter...

MSTs and Dust Tornadoes are also very good against GK, as they'll pick off GK's backrock since they very trap reliant.

Remember that the 23rd (this friday) is the last day for signups. If anyone has friends that plays, you can lead them here if you like for more participants. Once it hits 12am midnight, I will be making the bracket and I'll have it up within the next hour signups were closed.

I am still missing ChrisII deck information in order to make the spot legitimate. (then we are 12 members for the tournament, still 4 spots to give out)
Anywho, heres the new list :3

Gk is not so strong this meta due to the amount of backrow hate thx to the return of heavy storm and 3 MST, but in an opposite effect karakuri's gained a lot of strength because of that making them quite fierce this meta

Unfortunately that isn't what Judges are (that would be kind of nice though). To be a bit specific: a judge in Yugioh is a person that 1: at least RC-1 certified(rule comprehension 1) meaning that they can understand the rules in literal and in practical terms, and have further decided to have joined the KDE judge program which is used to improve the judge's knowledge of card rulings (like the recent Xyz ruling), share opinions of various aspects of the TCG with other judges, and make appropriate decisions when they are Judging at official tournaments
As for who decide what is banned and is not, that would probably be Konami itself.
