Available on March 11 on the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox one.
Apparently it's a really desired game but there's no thread for it, so here you go.
It's called the spiritual successor of Call of Duty, although CoD isn't really dead yet(might as well be).
From what I've seen it's seems like another CoD with mediocre looking mechs, but wall running looks interesting.

Angry Joe talked about it, but he can't be relied on for shit when it comes first impressions. You need someone more knowledgeable and eloquent to expound the game's current merits and flaws. You need Totalbritfuck:
I like this game more simply by virtue of it not having a single player. There's no bullshit attached; the devs know exactly why people will play this. Activision, however, just can't let go.

Was really overhyped about this game.
But it's just 2 months from now.
The beta doesn't have much depth. The devs haven't even said how many game modes there are gonna be. I think this game won't be taken to its full potential.
If there were more cuztomization and more game modes to show some variety, this'll be a no-brainer to buy.
Also it's only gonna be on Origin for the PC. That's EA forcing Origin down our throats for you.
Though I'm still gonna buy cuz it seems really interesting.

I've been playing the beta all day, and it's alright.
It's fun jumping off walls and such, or Destroying guys as a Titan. Since it's 6 vs 6, the bots I guess are supposed to give you the feel of a larger battle, but They are completely useless. Seriously They have only managed to shoot me 2, and kill me once, cause I wondered if the could actually melee.
I do like the Burn cards though, gives it something different compared to other games. (that i have played)

I really can't stand Origin as it is now, maybe in a few years...
Maybe, I would get this game if they come out with Gundam mods.

What I got out of the game was a very good first impression. Parkouring as a Pilot sets a very fast pace for the game and added a layer of vertical combat, plus outplaying a Titan to death as a Pilot is highly satisfying. The Titan gameplay is exciting, it's reminiscent of Hawken where anticipating your opponent's actions is invaluable as well as understanding counters. However the most interesting mechanic is probably the AI cannon fodder who appear useless until one considers how a 6v6 game would turnout without anything to shoot at, or a 12v12 where everyone has Titans and people who do not get Titans are literally roadkill for hordes of Titans, or they nerf Titans to where they feel disatisfying to use.
However, the excitement of the beta wears off quickly after hitting the max level cap (14) right now I look forward only to playing the Strider and/or Ogre Titan using a Burn Card (only one use though..), playing the only two maps about fifty times and the realization that an enemy team full of competent Titans is nigh impossible to defeat without a friendly team full of competent Titans. Cloak is pretty much worse than Stim in most situations and the fact that it removes your aiming reticle makes sniping more unappealing. The game highly favors higher levels because custom classes are locked and the starting gear sucks, so expect death at the hands of experienced and better equipped players early on. Some of the rare Burn Cards are hideously overpowered, like permanently revealing all enemies on the minimap or permanent cloak AND your Pilot ability etc. Regardless I expect decent things from Titanfall.

I got into the beta a few days back and besides the usual server shit most betas deal with I can say that it was quite fun, but my only complaint so far is I can see it get very boring after doing the same stuff over n over in these fast rounds because I found myself just losing the will to play after 2-3 games but nonetheless the game was pretty good so perhaps its just my opinion.

A lot of people might attack for lack of depth or the 6 vs 6 with dumb bots, but I think I'll get this game.
Right now there is no other shooters but, Cod (nuff said) and bf4, which I love but it's so broken still. And the next wave of shooters is still a ways off. It's got enough variety, with the titans and burncards, not to mention the parkour. And for me is really easy to go into match and finish with 0 deaths, which makes it so less rage inducing.

Just came back from a Microsoft Store, which was showing Titanfall gameplay. Ermegerd, it looks fantastic. Plus the store is hosting a release party

The addition of verticality to a shooter is something I've been looking for for so long, which is partly why I prefer battlefield over Cod (which itself is generally a crappy shooter). The ability to go atop of DESTRUCTABLE buildings enhances gameplay significantly. Now with Titanfall, it becomes a high-speed all-angle firefight. It's not just parkour. It's JETPACK parkour with sideways wall-running and infinite wall jumps. And on the note of dumb bots, the AI doesn't seem too stupid. In fact, as I recall, the makers actually dumbed down the AI autopilot for theTitans because they considered that the additional intelligence was too complicated and/or useless to players.

Angel City is parkour heaven, you'll feel like god when you turn a 1v6 into a team wipe there.
The AI bots are dumb enough to shoot at you once(and probably miss) for about 1% of your life after five seconds then run out of cover where they will whine about their life story to you, they are hopelessly outmatched and that's how it should be. Auto-Titans are SLOW and they are more susceptible to anti-Titan measures, but they do have decent aim and their big guns are still big enough to oneshot you.

After being tired of how broken CoD Ghost is on steam, it might as well be dead. PC gamers get no love from CoD so screw Activision. I'm debating whether I should get this or Dark Souls II (more for the latter) since it's not going to be released on steam. Mainly for convenience sake, idk what Origin really is but I'm less motivated to get it.

Titanfall details leaked
15 maps, Anti-Titan turrets, new game mode, ziplines and giant monsters. Potentially hostile giant monsters. I want to punch in Tigrex's face with an Ogre now (probably never gonna happen, but multiplayer campaign..).

Sorry, its EA.
Its bound to be ruined by dumb cash grabbing bullshit.
But there is something that irks me about the game.

DINOMODE!?????
Though seriously already knew about the Turrets, kept seeing them on the radar on that Oil Colony World. If there is AI beasts on the map, I doubt they'll upset the balance, after how dumb the AI is, unless the have some kind of Magnetic Hands like the Banshees in ME3 i'm not afraid.
