Titanfall

Honestly Titanfall is the only game that remotely interests me for next gen consoles that's coming out soon. It looks like it has potential although E.A. tends to ruin games that have any potential at all. Either way I'll be waiting for the game to release to see what people say. Probably won't get it until another few months at the earliest.

TB's impression

If what TB is saying about the campaign is true, then it's pretty lame how the campaign is pretty much the multiplayer with dialogue. It's also required to unlock the other Titans, which pretty much makes campaign a stomping ground for new people since a veteran has no incentive to replay the campaign later on. The dinosaurs are there for scenery, bleh. There are also the problems I have from the beta carrying over, excluding some of the obvious ones. Titanfall is going to be a good game, but not amazing is my expectation.

So servers are actually holding pretty well.
Overall it's a fun mindless killfest. The Game does a good job in limiting camping, so the gameplay is pretty fast. That is until my team gets stacked with good players who all get titans, so it's just a slaughter. Varity of weapons and titan weapons and gadgets and stuff is good. Nothing feels overpowered atm.
Campaign is just a series of matches with dialogue playing in the background. But I do find it cool that one one mission you actually get to do a drop pod from space.

So for whatever reason I went seven matches in a row as #1, even when my ping jumped to 500 I still got #1 and won the match. People are probably still growing accustomed to the vertical element of Titanfall and fighting as a Titan.
Finished the campaign, with the server crashing now and then (not really that big of a deal). The story is bad, but I really didn't expect better. The game is still fun but some of the later unlocks feel overall better than the others, especially Stim over Cloak because cloak is bad in most cases-unless there are plenty of lock-on weapons on the other team.

>there are people who think this game is innovative
I don't even...Seriously. After seeing more footage and playing it a bit off it, it's not horrid. I wish the Mechas felt more like Mechas instead of larger soldiers, but overall it's a mindless fun game(bots are stupid as shit though, and they should just include more players). I might get if they have a "everything included at a really low price" version of the game on the PC, but that's not very likely because Origin.

The problem with including more players is balancing, map-size and dilution of a Titan's presence on the map. I've only felt Titans being unsatisfying when watching the animations or the lack of meatiness when stopping, otherwise stomping and throwing Pilots across the map feels pretty mecha to me. Plus AI are a cheaper, less effective alternative to simulating a large-scale battle that's fresher than the usual, so I don't mind. Origin is bad.
Self respect and mindless fun-I shouldn't have to choose between the two, picking both sounds fine to me.

Xbox One already has performance issues if everyone rides Titan
The thing is, EA cannot let Titanfall overshine and beat the flagship called Battlefield. Hence, it cannot and will not be better than Battlefield.
Second from that video, 48 gig size on PC?
How much content do you get from that size?

Uncompressed sound files made it that big I believe.
As for EA not letting it be bigger, I think this is one of the few instances where they're just publishing it. I could be completely wrong, but I'd say the Developers are better to people to complain to for broken mechanics, or issues in general.

Maybe.
BUT I doubt it.
EA as a publisher still holds the wallet. Game looks good now, but I'm paranoid and I think there will be a mess in the future with Titanfall. Prolly gets DLC's up the arse in forms of Extra titans.

It's less about cannibalization and more about ntr-ing CoD. It's not a coincidence that titanfall is just cowadoody with robots and jetpacks, especially since the devs are former Infinity Ward employees. Blame dev incompetence in the realm of programming.

Is kawaii uguu responsible for making a weab's heart go dokidoki? Does a bear shit wherever the fuck it wants and slurps honey the way EA chugs the souls of successful developers? The answer to all questions is "all of the above." Why? Because EA.

Yup.
It did win Worst Company In America award twice.
Probably ends up getting that award 3rd time in a row.

Uncompressed audio files are indeed a result of the large file size, took me an hour and thirty minutes to unpack the audio.
Spoiler:
Maybe EA will do a 180 turn on Respawn's announcement in the future, or maybe Respawn will change it's mind but for now no new Titans. Also the Tigrex vs. Titan dream comes true?! I am afraid to hype this.

Spoiler:
I disagree with the 9/10, there are definitely imbalances in the game, the campaign should have lowered the score greatly and the counter system is pretty shallow but they did touch on the fact that I forgot to mention the wonderful map design.

This game is fucking enormous for such a limited game. There's so little content and all guns feel almost generic with the attachments available. Of course the actual flow of the game is really simple easy and fun but the ride gets boring fast.
I've played this for 20 hours and pretty much have unlocked virtually everything.
Surprise surprise, it IS possible to get bored of killing things in this game. Being an avid Counterstrike player of 10+ years, this is more of a chore than a game to me now. My KDA is a lie, since grunts and other bullshit account into it, it's hovering around 11-13 kills per death.
If you like iron sighting, and shooting at NPCs, and full automatic gunfire with no strategy other than parkour + shooting, this is pretty much for you.
Waste of fucking money. Oh well, at least my sibling hasn't gotten bored of it yet. He's getting there though, already hates using the same default rifle nonstop since there's nothing remotely similar to it.
At least with battlefield 3 I had the option of massive variety and customization. Still feels like beta.

The Lord of Butts!
I got a question about this game, is it possible to play with NA friends when you yourself are in EU?
Or is this game just "EU plays with EU alone"-type ish?

At the log-in menu you can select your server
