[color=#2e1a6b]I'm a little confused. I thought Doki was doing the translation for Clannad... did it get cancelled?

Wow.. I'm currently playing Clannad.. AND I'm on Tomoyo's route.
I'm excited to play this, after I finish Clannad!

I would really like to play the game but I'm completely lost when it comes to following the link to download the actually game. Can anyone explain how to download the actually game to me? (I'm sorry if it's a silly question but I figured I would ask at least v.v)

Tomoyo is such a wonderful girl with lots of potential, too bad Tomoya is such a below average guy and it's only holding back her potential
(Don't get me wrong, I like this girl better than Nagisa, but be realistic here)

I don't normally post.
But when I do, I prepare for a roller coaster of emotions.
Hopefully it'll at least be on par with Clannad. Can't wait.

I can't directly link you the game due to various issues, but it's not hard to find.
After which run the patch.

September 22nd marked a great day to Key fans everywhere. The long awaited English patch for Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life was completed. This visual novel takes acts on a “what-if” path if Tomoya had not called out to Nagisa at the bottom of the hill. It takes place after the Tomoyo Route in Clannad, but it can be played just fine if all you have seen is the Tomoyo OVA at the end of Clannad. However, unlike Clannad this novel contains glorious hentai scenes between Tomoyo and Tomoya. This novel is extremely “Key-like” in the fact that it's an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions. It also has a different artist than Clannad so their a minor difference to be noted in the art, but in my opinion it just makes it better.Tomoyo After's development started after Clannad was completed and Jun Meada wanted to make a game based entirely on Tomoyo. He's one of the main people responsible for wrenching your hearts throughout Clannad, Angel Beats, Air, and Kanon. It also has beautiful music composed by the same people who did the scores for Clannad. But enough of my Key ranting though, if you enjoyed Clannad GO PLAY THIS GAME.
And be sure to go over to Doki (where you will find the torrent links) and thank them for a fantastic job after 17 months of hard work. Great job guys!
Lastly, be sure to have your PC's “Language for non-Unicode programs” set to Japanese. This is changeable by going into “Control Panel” and selecting “Clock, Language, and Region.” Once there click on “Region and Language” and hit the “Administrative tab.” After this just select Japanese(Japan) from the list and you should be good to go. Use the patch after installing the game, not before.
Awesome job this is so supa kawaii uguuu. I really enjoyed the parts where Ron Paul stole the spotlight overall an amazing piece of art.

Really, really hoping for a different end than the manga had. Not expecting it, but hoping for it. God damn that was depressing.

in the ps2 and psp version the epilogue was expanded a bit for less bitter and more sweet ending that it is. But in the end she chose to end that 3 year cycle no longer wishing to delude herself. As for holding her back, I dont think Tomoya is. He is your average joe. Got that average job and working to support his family and if thats holding someone back well not everyone wants the life of something more fantastic I suppose.

I somehow made it to "Last Day" of Tomoya's arc, without landing a single bad ending.
This is the absolute best. I loved Clannad, and even though it looks different here and there it still feels the same. I'm going to continue loving this VN.
Edit: An hour later I finished this VN. This ending is truly sad. But I have some question. ONLY READ THE SPOILER IF YOU'VE COMPLETED THIS.

Just one 'true' ending. As for the PC Ending and PS2 and PSP Ending. Well... I think the last picture says quite clearly what happened to Tomoya. For the PC ending. As for the PS2 and PSP ending well there is a nice little youtube ending with a synopsis on what 'potentially' happens that may uplift some peoples spirits.

Just a WAG but did you install the file from the torrent?
Two ways will work
Either use Daemon tools lite or an equivalent and mount the ISO.
Or if you have winrar or 7 zip or some other extractor.
Extact it remember what folder you put it in (should go to KEY)
Find the Setup.exe and let it load
Once it is mounted or extracted (you get the same install either way)
Copy the english patch to the folder (Key > Some Japanese characters)
Then run the patch
CAVEAT If you dont have your unicode set to Japanese as recommended you will get a nice black frozen screen.
Also if by some chance you are running 64 bit.
Make sure you put the game in the [Program files (x86)] folder.
