For some reason, I never realized that this VN has no voice acting.Or could it be that somehow the voice got corrupted during my installation?
Anyone having the same problem? or it's just that the VN has no voice over?
This game is not voiced

I've always found it kind of odd how TypeMoon seemingly refuses to voice their titles. I think the only one that has voice acting from them is Fate/stay night Realta Nua. I wonder why that is?

My guess would be that since there was a port to PS2 with the inclusion of voices (maybe Type-Moon thought that the game wouldn't be that well received without them in a console version), Type-Moon decided to gain more money by releasing a PC version voiced. It seems that even the officially voiced version of Fate/stay night was released by routes -_-

Voices makes the time needed to develop game longer and more expensive. Type-Moon is probably sticking to how they have made their VNs in the past as well, a sort of tradition to not have voices.

what?! by routes?
so it's like... Ef that got split in melodies and memories?
and the F/SN gonna get split like....
- Fate/Stay Night -FATE-
- Fate/Stay Night -Unlimited BladeWorks-
- Fate/Stay Night -Heaven Feels-
like that?
it's definitely will be a money source...

Capitalism at it's best.
~OR~
Well there's the additional financial burdens like paying for voice acting, in which the casting can play a big role in it either being a success or failure, for anime fanatics this should be general knowledge.
Licensing issues, royalties need to be paid to agents and recording companies. We've all seen what Mangagamer had to deal with, even if they are just localizing it.
And with content at this size, the media of choice needs to be at least doubled, again increasing the costs.
All this hassle, when all you want to do is publish your graphic story.

It's just type-moon's cruel marketing strategy to make you buy the ps2 ver as well for the voice. They always do so.

Look at Sengoku Rance, does it need voices to rise a boner? No. Besides, You generally don't go to type-moon games for the H, it's a terrible insult to the effort they put to the content.

If they are porting the Realt Nua version it doesn't have h-scenes anyway. Unless they are keeping them for the PC or something.

True but you got the bonest boner if you love the chara/plot.

So I have been avoiding this thread for awhile now thinking no translation will be out for awhile to see part one is apparently translated.
My question is how long is part one because if its not all that long I will rage at my inability to progress in the story after just 10 minutes.
And another question anyone know if the translation for this is going to take as long as Hollow Ataraxia is?

First of all, get some facts right. F/HA isn't being translated by any known group, but by members of Beast Lair's forum.
Second, I think everyone is waiting for Mirror Moon to decide if they'll do it or not.

Well assuming you were talking to me, since you didn't quote or state otherwise, I never mentioned anything about a group translating F/HA i just stated the translation is taking awhile.
If you were talking to someone else then meh.

Ouch. Harsh on the new-comer, Ema. But I agree. Type-Moon is for the story~~ You want H, there are tons of H only companies out there. Like Grandee-Soft, Nounai Kanojo and Clocksoft. Those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
My fave companies are still Yuzusoft, Alicesoft, Type-Moon, Key and Nitro+. Oh and Minatosoft and Leaf ain't halfbad.
