What should I get, 360 or PS3?
0
I have never bought a gaming console for myself except N64.
Now I want one.
Which one should I get?
I know PS3 is cheaper when going long-term with it because online is free and controller is rechargeable using the USB port connected to the console.
And you PS3 fags will say how it has blu ray and all that crap, but I don't give a shit. I just want to play games.
I would not use the wifi for playing online/live because I'm like that.
I would get a PS3 with no hesitation, but the problem is that the PS3 controller is light as fuck, and the joysticks and the triggers for the PS3 controllers have AIDS or some shit... And I'm too used to the 360 controller.
Plus, if I want to buy the camera crap in the future, 360 Kinect is definitely better than the PS3 one because the PS3 controller for that shit looks like a dildo.
So I ask you, what should I get?

Honestly. It depends on what type of games you find yourself playing the most.
Like I think Halo is more vibrant in things like shooters while PS3 is more vibrant with things like rpgs. Kind of like that.

I believe I'll start with fps games because honestly, that's the only type of game I played except mmorpg on computer.

Then I think the 360 is probably your better options.
At least that's what I remember it being. FPS being more available and better options on the 360.

RPG games on ps3 are fun, 360 for FPS or Action.
It all depends on what games you like playing really.
PS3 you don't have to pay for PSN.
360 costs money to be a gold member.
As my PS3 rarely acts up, my 360 tends to freeze a lot and load forever, while my PS3 runs very smoothly.

There are people telling me to upgrade my PC... Is that a better idea than purchasing a new gaming console?

Depends on what type of upgrades you would need.
Also are you more likely to play MMORPGS and FPS on your computer than you would a console?
For the cost of a console, you could definitely do things like upgrade your ram, and possibly get a better graphics card if the one you have is decently old.

Well it's something to consider.
I think your best options, considering your wants, would be this.
Get the X-Box 360. With FPS being your game of choice, this is probably the best option out of the consoles for you.
Or you can take the money for the console, and upgrade your computer with it. This probably depends on how much room you have to upgrade, and how old everything is on your computer.
If you can play the MMORPGS you have right now just fine on your computer, then I would say the console is the better choice for you. If it's pretty sluggish or poor quality, then upgrading the computer now would probably be the recommended choice.

If you don't care about the fact that the PS3 has blu-ray or free online, then then the answer is as simple as looking at which system has the games you want to play.
I'm not talking about genres, I mean specific games. Thats all you said you cared about, so just focus on that. Decide what game you want to play, and what game you want to play in the future, then buy the system it is on.

FPS is a genre of games.

Your point? I know he said he is going to play FPS games, but both systems have FPS. That isn't going to help.

I'm sorry that you misunderstood. It was my fault that I was very careless with the first post.
I do not care much for the blu ray, but I do care about the free online. The fact that PS3 is cheaper, but the fact that Xbox360 controller is much better for me to use are the main reasons why this whole thought got me hesitating.
@Disgusting:
No. Fuck you. I hate you.
