So what I'm seeing here is a bunch of fanboys trying to push their opinions onto other people... Like Hajin said, the xbox might do something better than the ps3 and the ps3 might do something better than the 360. Not one system is king, not one system is perfect. We are Gamers, we should embrace all aspects of gaming instead of trying to bash it. I love the Xbox 360 and the PS3... But if I had to pick out of the 2 i would go with the xbox, simply cause the online experience is far better. In simple terms, you get what you pay for, thats how i see it..

im not forcing my opinion on anybody and where was i comparing resistance fall of man to gears of war? i am comparing ps3 exclusive's to xbox exclusive's. and these opinions are not bias,bias means to lean towards 1 thing because i dont like the other.if i was posting a bias opinion i would say buy this because we have this and they dont. and as in rep i dont give a shit about, i could be a 1 million negative and people would still love me.

And I play mainly rpgs.
And I don't like turn based combat systems (which mean I would actually have to THINK while beating up the opponent wtf).
BUT if you know of an awesome fps, that HAS EVEN SOME KIND OF A STORYLINE, feel free to mention that too - the humiliating experience of getting constantly beaten up in fps games by guy friends drives me to learn how to play them some day :D
I prefer the 360's library of exclusive games over the PS3's. No, not because of games like Halo Reach or Gears of War, though they are both very good games in their own right. But because of games like Alan Wake (Heavy on the story, very atmospheric), Fable 3 (A straight-forwared RPG. My sister loves the Fable series), Metro 2033 (A VERY story driven, atmospheric, horror FPS based on a book. I heavily recommend.), Mass Effect (ME2 is on PS3, but some people prefer the first for heavier RPG elements.), Left 4 Dead 2 (A team-focused zombie FPS. Also recommend) and Crackdown (A chaotic sandbox game with supersoldier-esque cops.) to name a few. I haven't checked up on any upcoming exclusives for the 360, so pardon me if seems like there isn't much on my list.
Edit: I personally love the 360 controller. It just feel right to me. It may be because I got an original xbox with an S controller after so many years of playing on an N64. See, I've played on a PS3/PS2 and the controller just doesn't feel natural to me, I just find it odd. Idunno, maybe it's just me.

I'm gonna agree with GhostInTheMachine's quote. The 360's controller is fine, except for the dpad, it's pretty crappy for fighting games. You really will need either a fightpad or a fight stick. I own a 360 myself and I would prefer it since the online experience is really good. And I've grown pretty fond of it's game library over the years.

Heh, I had the same thoughts when I was going to buy my console of the new generation: For me I just choose the system that had the most games I'd play and at the time the PS3 only had two games (God of War 3 and Resistance games) that I'd consider playing and the 360 was cheaper. Which, now I am glad I went with the 360 but I've been one of the luckier ones and my friend I compare systems with has been one of the unlucky PS3 owners. Which I find amusing because he games less than I do.
