Zone of the Enders HD Collection

Anyone else hype as fuck for this?

About damn time. I never played any of the ZoE games before.

Surprising there's never been a thread about this HD Collection here on FAKKU, but alas, here's one.

Anyway, ZOE: 2nd Runner was one of my first PS2 games and I certainly loved everything about it, the amazing fast paced mech combat, beautiful soundtrack and compelling story with the most epic designed 3D graphics engine for the PS2 era, I expected nothing less from the master, Hideo Kojima when I played this game.

I also can't wait to see what the trophies will be like for these two games, considering if you're really good at piloting Jehuty and the short length of time to beat both games story wise, and beat all EX missions included in 2nd Runner which I did, my guess are they would be moderately easy platinums.

I already have both of them on PS2 since like....forever. They look gorgeous enough on PS2 so, no reason to buy them in HD unless they add anything new like.... online VS in 2nd runner. But that thing will just be an Anubisfest.

HELL YES, man I so loved ZOE when I played it on the PS2 (trashed Jehuty Vs Anubis = duel of the century).

OH SHIT YEAH. Didn't even think it'd be for 360, so I wasn't really looking much into it. fuck yes.

Finally. Maybe after Kojima sees the fan's response to this, it might motivate him to work on ZoE3 sooner rather than later.

Not sure anyone has heard yet, but a special event planned for the upcoming ZoE HD collection has been announced to premiere at May 25 if you're living in Tokyo, Japan.
Some of the original, major developers of the series will make an appearance. You can get the info of where and what this event will be held through this article.

Now I can relive the grief of not saving EVERY GOD DAMNED CIVILIAN in stunning HD!

He's already confirmed that he will make ZoE3. It's just a matter of time. Perhaps after his adventure game thing that he's making right now. That seems too hopeful though.

I swear, Konami is almost too generous to the Japanese with their limited edition releases. This is what they will be getting on the HD Collection LE:

If they follow the fashion of making this happen Stateside as well with the MGS HD Collection, the hardcore ZOE fans will be really pleased.

I played the first one, but got frustrated with it since I got stuck on some level. I'll pick up the hd collection cause I really did enjoy the game and I heard good things about the sequel.
