The Summer / Winter Writing Event 2014

I hope you people are enjoying your summer because I am not. This is precisely the reason why I decided to hold a writing event in the vain hope that my summer would be better. How I wish I were in the Southern Hemisphere risking hypothermia...

This event will differ from other writing events like competitions and the like. There will be neither rewards nor a leader board, but the story you make will be added on this thread so that leonard267 would make remarks in his Sisyphean pursuit of happiness.

Please refer to the post below for the rules, event entrants, miscellaneous information and the like.

Rules
1. Write anything you like. We will be more than glad to read it.

2. We would like your work to be original. However, parodies and fan fiction are allowed but for the love of God do not plagiarise!

3. Feel free to ask for others to fix your grammatical errors. I am being honest here.

4. Please include the tag " [Summer 2014] " before the title when you make a thread so it is known that it is part of the event.

Q: Are multiple entries, in other words more than one writing in the thread allowed?
A: Please do!

Q: Are lemons (erotic stories) allowed?
A: Yes. leonard267 doesn't really like lemons though.

Q: Can I submit a poem, essay, narration, etc. rather than a story?
A: Yes. Feel free to put a recording of your narration as well.

Q: Will there be judging?
A: No. Unless you count leonard267 dropping by your thread as judging.

Q: What will happen to my writing?
A: I will link it here, along with the others.

Q: If I haven't posted in W&F (Writing and Fanfiction) before, can I still join?
A: Of course!

Q: Why should I participate?
A: For fun really. You would also get to know leonard267

Q: When's the deadline?
A: August 1st. (1200hrs GMT +8) Tentatively. 11th August 2014, Monday. (1200hrs GMT+8)

Q: Is there any word limit?
A: None at all!

Q: Wait... If a similar event is held at the end of the year, would you be calling it the Summer / Winter Event 2014?
A: Very good question. Perhaps I should name events such as these after the months instead.
