HuniePop 2: Double Date

Bought instantly. Fond memories playing this in early adulthood

I love this franchise so much, and am very glad that this long awaited game finally came out. However, i have been having some serious issues with running the game on my laptop. I don’t regret the purchase, i just wish i could actually play it instead of staring at a frozen screen...

Great replayability and love the voice acting too!

Not as fun play as the first Huniepop, but still leagues better then Huniecam.

New girls and outfits are super hot, but while the art is very good the scenes tend to be kinda tame.

This game made me laugh, had enjoyable tile-match game play, and there was plenty of art to collect.

The only bad thign was the art was more american and not very lewd. I mean yeah it had naked bodies and all that, but it was more techincal/less sexual.

The strengths of this game is the wonderful attitude and carefree enjoyment you can get while playing it. 1-3 characters are brain dead and uninteresting (by design choice) however the rest of the girls are interesting enough that they more and make up for it.

The only two downsides is the art work (which is the same style as the first game) and the ugly milf/trashy girls they throw in there.

One of the more interesting things I found was it's lack of filter when dealing with a few controversial topics like being Trans and Relgion. The first being supportive of Trans people, the other poking a giant finger at shaming women in a certain religion that forces women to conceal their bodies and their personalities.

Over all I am 100% pleased and would buy a 3rd installment despite the artwork being bad.

The art is good, the girls are also good. But there is quite a difficulty ramp, and it does feel like it can come done to only luck sometimes.

it's basically Huniepop 1, but better. The new mechanics are really fun to work around, and the new girls have a great personality. It's overall a bit more difficult than Huniepop 1, but there are the difficulty settings. There are a few things I wish they hadn't changed, but most of the changes are positive.

Very anticipated game for me, finished the game to 100% completion and even though I've already finished it, I can't help but continue playing it again and again.

A funny and fun game with great voice acting

So not only is the threesome angle sexy but that just means there's more characters to play with. It has the same wit as the first game and the match 3 game is as enjoyable as ever. I had a lot of fun with the 1st one and I'm having fun with this one too! Not much more to say then that!

The challenges are a little bit too easy but still very fun to play

Makes you actually think with the head on your shoulders a bit.

The gameplay is a step-up from the original with some interesting tweaks and twists.
This also gets right to the action whereas the original had a bit of a slower start and felt a bit more 'intimate' with the girls. So you get to see a bit less of each individual girl.

Game mechanics are interesting. I enjoy that it brings something new to the table. Just wish there was more of a variety of different girls. Still, a great game to enjoy.

The gameplay is certainly addictive, but the multiple RPG elements had me trying to focus on too many things at once. And yet, I kept coming back for more.

To me getting just a static sexscenes after completing a candy crush clone is just kinda disappointing. The dialogues are pretty funny though.

I was a fan of the first game, it is easy to pick up and learn but also is somewhat of a challenge. This game doesn't do animation well, you are usually staring at 2D but that was what I was looking for. The big plus for me was the new mechanics to the game where you go on double dates in the search for several threesomes.

I feel like if this company made more strides to putting the voices to animation they could be sitting on a gold mine.

+Love that its English Localized, the voice actors are cringe but I find it hilarious
+Engaging mindless gem swiping gameplay
+Hilarious new game mechanic "Baggage", though I hated them, discovering new ones was a nice personal touch on the girls
-No Animations, orgasms happen during play as part of the game which is the same for the first game
-You wouldn't really know its a threesome, which was the biggest let down for me.
-For me, not much interest in replaying after the first completion even with Alpha Mode and Endless mode

The double date mechanic is a good idea but the first game is just better overall

Game is very fun, however it doesn't really surpass the original in any major ways.

HuniePop 2 is definitely a comparatively better second-generation sequel to the first. Though in all honesty the difficulty curve and activity-dump the matching minigame seems to be as your time playing goes on, it doesn't quite match the pacing of your involvement.

The beginning of the game makes it seem like Double Date opportunities will be thrown your way left/right and without too much strenuous strategy. Until you find yourself scouring the boards for one last move while struggling to meet the 250+ Point Requirement each time you try to complete a Date. The Baggage system is interesting, however, and the Pairs of Girls you attempt to Date essentially forces a Make or Break feel from the first moves you try.

Otherwise, solid game overall, of course. Decent comedic script, and interest-piquing for sure.

Hunie pop 2 took everything that was great about the first one and brought it back with a new glossy coat of paint, love the characters and the challenge. Also the soundtrack is amazing

I'm hella excited. Insta-purchase. Only thing holding it back is that best girls Aiko and Beli are no longer in the game. I'll live though.

I played the first game now I'm ready for round 2.

I've already spent too much time playing. Highly recommend.

way harder than the first one, but so so good :)

Hard mode isn't a joke, it's like a real fucken challenge. The story or interaction between the girls are insanely comical. Overall, a fun purchase to burn time.

What an incredible time this game is. Even playing on standard mode, the final boss is truly challenging. The voice acting is thoroughly campy. You get the sense that the voice actors are having fun voicing each character; none of the lines seem TOO serious, but everyone's giving it their all. Really great game, great puzzle mechanics, a surprising amount of depth....

And hentai tiddies. Lots of great art.

The gameplay is still dating sim + 3-match but with the new mechanics (baggage game rules, stamina balancing) there's lots of interesting interaction.
My only "issue" so far is that because they share a stamina mechamic, i keep playing the 3-match instead of talking; because the dialogue is still snappy and killer.

Also Sarah (Suki) is cursed, the worst, and I feel called out.
I love every second of that filthy weeb.
