A Dog Never Bites Their Master's Hand

I think Idaten Funisuke is my favorite new artists this year.

I have been on this site for years and I can't think of any work that is as expressive as this one. You could remove the words and pretty much get the whole story. This artist truly knows how to tell a visual story and consistently has written some of the most interesting reads on Fakku.

The only problem is that this expressiveness doesn't directly translate into sexiness, and sexiness it what sells. The last panel on page 11 is an outstanding image. You can feel the shame she has when revealing the bite marks. Unfortunately it's not really sexy. There are countless stories that I've read because the girl looked hot, but stopped actually reading the words because I've seen the scenario done better before or the dialogue wasn't adding anything to the sexy pictures. This artist has written some of my favorite words on Fakku and he doesn't seem to get nearly as much traction as he should because of his style.

One other note is that this style seems to be influenced by the West, and in particular I would guess animation from the last decade. There are some expressions I can't recall seeing in anime or manga, but I do feel like I've seen in Western cartoons. This is just a hunch so I could be way off base here.

I'd been a little worried that this author would go the NTR route with some of his works, but this...this is a masterpiece.
