I think you have to think about it not just on surface level. Title is: After the Honeymoon (which is when reality starts to set in), the guy fucked up and missed their date, it was pointed out specifically that he came fast, and the ending where he asked her if she wanted a toothbrush and she said "nope I'm fine" without even having to think about it which the guy points out in his mind. Finally, you have the last panel, which is a deliberate shot of the guy putting the toothbrush back on the shelf, representing that, for now, the relationship he wants isn't happening since the girl just turned him down. They'll be sex friends at least, but boyfriend and girlfriend is not there yet.
Except that she says "I already got the brand recommended to us by our hospital director" in response, meaning that he only puts the toothbrush away because she already bought one.
