This is just mean-spirited and foul. Everything about this narrative is malicious; would any of you wish this "misadventure" on any woman in your actual lives? If you're a human the answer is no, if you have misogynistic issues or revenge fantasies then yes, I guess this story is for you. The art is effective and provocative but the story is UGLY.

I honestly don't get why this plot archetype gets so much hate. She very easily at any point could've shut the whole thing down, but she gave into her pleasure. Am I defending the streamers? No, absolutely not. They were definitely fucked up for taking advantage of her. But at the same time you could raise the argument that they were just opportunists who got lucky. And to the people bashing the audience, there's really nothing they could've done to stop what was happening, so might as well enjoy it.

I know this take will probably attract a lot of hate/ flack, but such is life.

This type of plot gets pushback/hate because it endeavors to normalize abusive acts and perspectives. Treating women like animals with no agency, making it seem acceptable to casually use abusive language in reference to a woman, making a woman out to be a commodity for consumption, trying to normalize exploitation, trying to normalize rape. Delineating the ways that these "fantasies" are not innocent or harmless should be easy, expressing confusion about that is problematic. Saying "such is life" suggests we should accept all these elements and in doing so tacitly enable their perpetuation. The only things we should accept are that this is WRONG and that saying it's harmless doesn't make it harmless.

Despite how incredibly attractive and cute Koharu is, and how amazing the artwork is throughout and seeing her enjoy herself towards the end, I just can't help but be angry how all the people in that broadcast is straight up evil. Every thing they could do to screw her over, they did while laughing and an audience cheered on. Honestly it feels like that ending was set up from the beginning from Awabuchi starting to wear her skirt short which caused her to get hit on and creeped on, which lead her getting a trill from being lusted over and posting lewd pictures, to then volunteering for a shady "photoshoot" to finally completely losing herself and letting herself get taken advantaged of by some complete scumbags.
