God damn it Key, I wasn't ready to feels yet. Stupid mangaka and his ability to form a cohesive story through strong narrative and make me relate to characters through cliched yet effective montaging that compares their history with the present to show they aren't kids anymore. I just wanted to fap god damn it!

Looking back, she probably ran over to his house after something went wrong at home. It hints at something but she never says anything about it. Probably that's why she moved away too. It's amazing Key's able to capture the slow burn of school life while foreshadowing at the same time.

All within 22 pages.

I know (see my comments to other posts). "In this chapter" referred to the chapter I was talking about in the previous sentence: the sequel chapter I was dreaming of in which they see each other again after ten years and bang. You must have misunderstood me...

It was a flashback of their first time meeting. In the first panel he's in a v neck and then the next has him in his blazer. Truly bittersweet.

I kind of like how he was remembering the times he spent with her in the past while having sex with her...Kind of like it was foreshadowing something. And it almost seemed like it was setting up for some kind of sad ending almost...
But well, I'm kind of glad it had a happy ending with them reuniting.

While I'm more camp flashback than camp reunion, the top panel of the last page is set during the sleepover, which was presumably early in the summer, at a different time than the accompanying thought block "Summer is already over."

I'm more curious about why she left than whether she came back. The family moving for normal reasons wouldn't be enough to get the neighbors gossiping, or explain why she hadn't answered her phone earlier in the chapter.

Kinda think it'd be their reunion. Considering she said 'I'm your neighbor', if she was his neighbor before the move I'm sure he'd notice some big moving truck right beside his house and wouldn't be surprised by her disappearing.

Kind of hard to tell, I feel like it could be either way. If it's that first meeting his lack of reaction makes sense, but I thought he was just stunned.
But considering all the setup, yeah...I do think it fits better if that was just the memory of the first time he met her.

They didn't reunite. He wears different clothes at the top of the last page and in the last panel, so the last panel is him remembering their first meeting while he watches his friends fool around.
