Seto Yuki and the single story NTR

So Seto is an author that's not generally available on anything FAKKU puts out, so it's nice to see something released that's fairly unique. The whole book is a single story, following Chitose and this guy who has a crush on her. It's fairly obviously an NTR story, both as the description posted here and a ton of other reviews on here make clear, but also even just from the beginning of chapter 1 it's fairly obvious where things are going.

One thing I will say is that the story is fairly minimal, which surprises me? It's a multi-chapter book devoted entirely to a single story, but the actual storyline doesn't have much to it. It does tug at the heartstrings but I guess I was expecting a bit more than that?

Overall a fairly unique book, at least in the context of FAKKU releases since it's the only Seto Yuki material you'll see here and their style is quite distinct (and good). If you really love the author but really don't like NTR then I guess you're probably as said as the male MC in this story? Oops.

Beautiful and Melancholic

I'll be honest, I bought this because the artwork is absolutely beautiful. It really drives home this air of melancholy that suits the feel of this story.

That said, I kind of wish there was more energy in the actual sex scenes. Everything feels too close up and crowded 90% of the time and it makes it hard to mentally parse what's going on. That's the reason why it's only 4 stars instead of 5.

There's room for improvement, but if you're looking for beautiful art, a melancholy vibe, and Bakayuki's "canon" "blasting" Chitose, this is for you.

Sometimes its best to just move on?

Art is god tier. Chitose is a classic that I would recommend with the slight warning of this feeling of emptiness when you finish reading. I personally think the story could use a sequel, but at the same time I like to think that the open ending is best because it allows you to draw your own conclusion to what seem to be a wild story.

It’s obvious the tittle character and Male MC both have feelings for each other and my personal thoughts on their relationship is that Chitose does what she does because she see’s that MC enjoys it. So she takes on a relationship based on pure sex to make her true love happy. I’d like to believe that after the time skip the two actually start seeing each other. On the other hand Mika is best girl and I kinda hope that she and the MC develop a true relationship.

It’s a story based on hookup culture and just like real life it’s messy and complicated. Chitose is a grounded story that will 100% leave you dead inside, but at the same time you find yourself coming back to it.

Absolute masterpiece.

This is the one. The magnum opus of all hentai. The perfect NTR(or BSS which I prefer). The emotion heavy and feel genuine, but it balances it without being too cruel on the "loser". None of the forced r*pe shit that plagues this genre. Absolute perfection.

This isn't NTR, it's Netori.

It's all about perspective. If you view the main character as Takayuki and his wing-sister stealing Chitose right out from under Hori, then the story and sex scenes get all the more spicy. Hori is quite spineless, forgettable and gets no sympathy from me. Takayuki though, he's the man.

Remember it's NTR...

... so even though the obvious pairing is presented very early on, we never actually get to see any (lasting) sexual interaction between Chitose and Hori in this Series. if you can look past that, or enjoy the Genre in itself, you can find a decent story and some very good action by Seto Yuki.
