You are remarkably observant. If a chapter is a fairly standard hentai tale,
I generally leave few comments. That doesn't mean the chapter is bad---
only that I don't find it particularly noteworthy.

However, if a chapter grabs my attention for any reason---if it's beautifully
drawn or brilliantly written---if it engages my mind or excites my imagination---
if it's unusually titillating (which is subjective, of course)---then I start dropping
comments, and the better the chapter, the more comments I drop. On the very
best chapters, I'll even leave a short essay (so the comments get longer, too).

This is not by design; it happens naturally, so the number of comments
I make is indeed a good "indicator of quality." But then, you would not
have noticed that connection if you, yourself, were not a good judge of
hentai quality.
