Perfect. Homunculus is clearly number 1 when it comes to vanilla stories. Patiently waiting for a new book from him. Got all 3 books. I also have Chitose's scale figure. I am surprised that no one has really made a figure of Homunculus' perfect ladies. Regardless, please do yourself a favor and get all 3 of his books!

Nice art and wholesome stories
I did not know Homunculus before and just saw that the cover looked nice, so I gave it a shot.
Stories
This book is a bundle of short stories. When I first read the book, the first two stories were boring. However, the other stories were quite great. I finished all of them in one sitting.

The art in the book is superb. I like it a lot. It is beautiful and artistic. It looks more realistic than other books I read before.

It's Homunculus
Homunculus is probably the greatest vanilla artist imho, and Courting Étranger is yet another example of why. Excellent art, simple characters, good vibes, everything you want out of vanilla is here and in prime form. As with all anthology collections, mileage may vary but to be honest I struggle to think of a Homunculus story I didn't like. Everybody needs at least one manga like this in their collection, and Courting Étranger is an excellent choice.

Homunculus does it again
Another Fakku Book where you get to see why Homunculus is one of the best Vanilla artists out there. Each story does a fantastic job of drawing you in and the art for the sex scenes is just as sexy to match with the great story telling. This is some of the best vanilla works you'll get in one package.

For me Homunculus is all I need to know that's it gonna be good and wholesome. Since reading Renai sample the name never let me down. I still haven't found a bad story by Homunculus, they prolly don't exist. Another thing that gets me is the recognizable art style.

Well Done Homunculus
Loved the book, I laughed and found the book relatable. Found three chapters that I adore. I love how the assertive girls are so sexy and the timid girls are cute. I do wish they did something different for the book art. On the front of the book ( NOT THE JACKET ) they just put the girls in circles wearing bikini tops with their names.

Top of the line vanilla
Homunculus is one of the more loved artists on FAKKU, and this book is a quality collection of their work. The stories are generally vanilla, focused primarily (but not exclusively) on school-aged girls, with builds that range from modest to busty (i.e. the "realistic" range, at least for manga). If good clean sexy straight-up fun is what you're looking for, it delivers.
Homunculus publishes in Kairakuten, and this collection is all newer stuff so it is mostly available via subscription at this point. But there are some extra bonus full-color epilogue pages, as well as a few pages of amusing 4-koma, nice little touches that make the book a little more special than just the collection of stories it contains.

The perfect example of vanilla manga. This is one of my favorite book. So, I highly recommend to read it.

Third book and still going strong
Homunculus' third collection joins 'Renai Sample' as one of the all-time great releases from one of the all-time great artists. Most stories are confined to relatively vanilla scenarios, but if that's what you're after then look no further. My personal favorite chapters are 'Love Knot Tale', 'Boy Meets Girl', and 'Passing Exams', though it's tough to choose since all are enjoyable. The print edition looks and feels really good, with quality paper and clean printing.

Sweet Stories with Pretty Art
The review's title is a pretty succinct description of the book overall. The stories are mostly vanilla scenarios but the author does spend a little time to set up a plot around what happens. They are the types of set up that's meant to make you feel good about the pairings in the stories and the way their relationships pan out.
Really only Studio of Thorns is an exception where it tries to go for a bitter-sweet story. There, it is about a girl who finally shows her crush how she feels just before he graduates and goes out of the country. It has NTR elements because the guy has a cheating girlfriend and a little Femdom in how she talks to him/treats him.
Overall anyone looking for a straightforward feel-good book with cute girls is going to like this one.
