I feel like their backstory could fill out an entire prequel all by itself...That's something I'd love to see.
Still! Mad respect to this guy. In order to repay them for taking him in, Not only does he help them out emotionally by relieving their stress...By that end, he worked damn hard to get a good job to also support them financially.
I'd call him lucky for being in such a situation, but I'd say he deserves/earned it.
Now all that's left is for him to make good on what he said as a kid and marry them both.
