I could relate with the guy not remembering a former “classmate” I too have that problem. After years of not talking to anyone from my school days if I were to meet anyone that knows me from back then I would seriously struggle remembering their faces.

This chapter is both crazy hot and incredibly intriguing.
Turns out "Mrs Yamada" or "Satou" for some time was scamming an insurance company by benefiting from a life insurance policy for a husband who doesn't exist. She's such a professional/natural con artist that while she was walking up to her apartment and unexpectedly see's a man she assumes is from the insurance company, and instead of panicking she smoothly uses her charm and puts on the "old middle school classmate / recently widowed" act while ending up bonding with the MC and leaving him with a new sense of self while secretly using him for her own gains.
This chapter was exceptional and there's a whole ton to unpack with what's going on, so great job Hiyoshi Hana. Sequel or prequel for sure!
