Ah, so that jellyfish was actually just being a wingman! Stinging him at the perfect moment...
I quite like how page 2 made it seem like that ideal situation really happened when in reality it was just his dream...But the dreams are so frequent that when he finally mistakes reality for his dream, he finally makes a move and it's certainly rather effective.
So, really, he should have just manned up and made his move earlier, but hey, I'd say it worked out in the end. Kinda wish we got to see their little 'talk' at the end though, I was hoping for some resolution to their relationship. A sequel would certainly be nice!
