Nah keisuke that was a genuine request for marriage in my opinion. She knew what that phrase meant since I’m sure her own culture has its own marriage proposal customs. That look on her face when she asked him to marry her was one of true love. That won’t be the last time she brings that phrase up and I’m hoping for a sequel where we seem them married with a beautiful mixed race child. Also why is she in japan? As we saw in the first page she was hiding on the side of the building with a bruised leg and a look of fear. Was she abducted from her home country and brought to japan to be sold as a slave but escaped from her captors? Is she a tourist who got separated from her family and doesn’t have a way to contact them or doesn’t for a certain reason?

Tsuge Yasuna knows how to manipulate the reader's emotions.
By depicting the girl as injured as well as homeless, he arouses
our sense of pity. We feel a great desire to help the poor thing.
So we strongly identify with Keisuke when he takes the girl in
and bandages her injury. That's how a good writer draws the
reader into a story.
The ending is nicely ambiguous. Is the girl merely parroting the
phrase, "Please marry me," or is she slyly planting a suggestion
in Keisuke's head?

Love is truly a universal language and this release is proof of that. Overall this is an awesome release from a true legend filled with lots of WAFF and vanilla so it comes as no suprise it has been added to my favourites. Oh and one last thing...Â

I could easily see a sequel to this story involving a younger and/or older sister(s) searching for the girl resulting in a love triangle/harem. But maybe that's too cliched. Either way, I do want to know how she ended up in her predicament to begin with.

Then she divorces him and takes all his money :D. Sluttish move in the book :P
the art was wonderful!
EDIT: It truly is remarkable, it left me stunned. It's a little out there but most of us have had day dreams of things like this happening to us. Thanks for the upload! I bet we would all lose are shit if a book from Tsuge Yasuna came out XD

See, I know you're kidding and not just trying to be edgy because you keep talking after the divorce crack. 😃

She is supposed to be Romani or Gypsy. What are the chances that you run into a homeless gypsy right outside of your apartment? And she also has the hots for you?

"And ever since, she's continued to live at my place"...Well, yeah, I guess that'd happen.
But hey, sometimes, you don't even need to have to understand each other's language to express your feelings for each other. How sweet.
Great ending though! I actually expected it to be a genuine request and I'm sure he would happily oblige...But it's just a phrase she heard on TV...Or is it?
Still, it's nice that she's making an effort to learn Japanese so she can communicate with her beloved.
