My Only Friend's a Smokin' Snack

Our main character's... a bit of character. He's got the face, the body, and the right kind of fashion sense, but his personality is a bit all over the place. When he turns to his best, and only, straight friend and gym buddy for advice, the friend asks what sort of guys our protagonist is into. After a laundry list comes out, he laughs, says his friend basically described him, proposes that they try to give it a go. Why not? Life's about experiences and all, but can our hero cross that threshold?
