I was almost certain that this was a time-skipped sequel to one of my all-time favorite chapters, "Lookout"—but now that I check, it looks like the character names are different.

What I appreciate about Yumeno Tanuki's hentai is the degree of character realism—he's very good at setting up little moments of surprise for his characters, wrong-footing them in subtly sexy ways. It's a hard thing to do well. He also seems to be fascinated by triangles and threesomes, but similarly, employs those situations in ways that are just slightly off-kilter from what the reader might expect, which keep his stories from becoming trope checklists.

One can't help but wish he did ero material a little more often.

Maybe it's just 'cause I'm poly anyway, but this seems like vanilla, despite the twist. Both guys love her, she loves both of them, there's just a communication issue where they both need to own up to their feelings for her to each other and she needs to be open with them how she feels about both of them, rather than just the one.

Sorry dude, but once it's poly, it's not vanilla. Especially given the lack of communication. I say this not because I think poly is a kink or a fetish per se, but because vanilla is, from my understanding, what is in the realm of normallacy for *most* people and what they would find themselves in IRL. And I say this as someone who gave it an honest attempt in real life.

My impression of vanilla, at least from how I've seen it marked on this site, has been reciprocated positive romantic feelings. There isn't a romance tag on this site, and I've seen plenty of vanilla tagged stories here with kinks, group sex, and/or multiple romantic partners involved. At least as far as Fakku is concerned, vanilla is inextricably linked with romance. To put a finer point to it, the apparent antithesis to vanilla is NTR. And that's... not remotely what's occuring here.
