That ending though. Hmm, so it would appear she still hasn't seriously considered his proposal, huh.
Well, I believe in you, Mr. protagonist. Just keep going for it and eventually, I'm sure your love and sincerity will reach her and she'll accept.

This was amazing. Not only do I love how tes_mei draws the women in his stories but they are able to convey such passion and feeling in the characters that they draw. It is why they are added to my list of favourite authors and why this has been added to my favourites list.

My only complaint is that it was too short. This needs a sequel! We have to know some backstory at least.

Anyhow, this is definitely tes_mel's best work yet.

From some of the dialogue, seems that Akira is older (not sure by how much) than Mitsuomi; not that it prevents him from having feelings for her. IMHO, attraction to a "Sexy Onee-san" is to be expected of a Man Of Culture. Also worth noting; he displayed serious skillz in taking care of Mai, plus his *cough-cough* "sexy time" prowess seemed to meet with Akira's approval.

Conclusion: Mitsuomi is perfect boyfriend material with capacity to upgrade to husband and (step-) father ... you know what to do in due time, Akira-san.
