The Same Old Commute - Part 1

This is easily Dagashi's best work yet. There's nothing groundbreaking about the story, but I've never seen it drawn so well. The female boss looks legitimately dead inside. The guy looks like a jerk, especially with his sanpaku eyes. There are also other nice touches and attention to details this artist brings. I really like that she had on lipstick, it was only through reading this that I realized you don't ever see it.

She took the glasses off even before anything sex related started. Must be a record... a sad, sad record...

Doesn't matter how hard you work when you meet the guy who works smart.

The wizard lost her v-card!

The fact he has a car despite being rookie while his boss doesn't. Something tells me he might be President's son or something. Would be cool to see a continuation.

Still, just a little bit of praise and she willingly talked to him about her insecurities, and he certainly didn't let that chance go to waste to get closer to her. Interesting...I'm actually rather curious now and want to see how their relationship goes from here on out.
In that sense, I'm glad it's a part 1, meaning there is a guaranteed sequel in the future.
