Kazu is distraught by the discovery of his wife's affair to the point where he can't stop surveilling her. When he finally confronts her lover, he learns that his wife was never as innocent as he thought.
Untitled Document 1 was excellent, but the sequel takes it to another level. Yamakumo's storytelling and pacing is a perfect example of how even a straightforward NTR story can be elevated.
If the cuckold dynamic is present at all, it's largely in subtext; Kazu is not turned on by his wife's infidelity, he's merely horrified by it. But both his fear (that if he confronts her, he'll lose her) and his dread (that he never knew his wife at all) is vividly depicted and tremendously sympathetic. His unease around their college pal is likewise relatable.
NTR as a genre doesn't typically spend a lot of time humanizing the guy who "wins," but in a very welcome twist, Atsushi is considerably more nuanced than the typical netorare stunt dick. His immediate and apparently sincere apology to Kazu makes him instantly more interesting, as does the conflict he seems to feel between his empathy for Kazu and his lust for Mitsuki.
If there's one character given short shrift, it's Mitsuki herself. We see what she's doing, of course, but aside from the obvious, we don't really know why. Untitled Documents 1 & 2 form an approximately complete story, but I think there's a real opportunity for a third chapter delving into Mitsuki's perspective to catapult this story into Netoraserare territory, and I would love to see Yamakumo-sensei take a crack at it.
In any case, this is a must-read for fans of the genre.
I think a college prequel would be good. Start back when Kazu and Mitsuki first met and working all the way up to the present day.
Honestly, this story make you feel super bad for Kazu. The whole situation is driving him insane but the fear of the unknown has paralyzed him into inaction. He isn't turned on my what his wife is getting up to but yet he doesn't want to wreck it. He just wants to keep up the pretence of a happy family. It's a sad choice between one of two nightmares.
Yamakumo have really outdone themselves with his book. The first was great but this is truly on another level and the greatest achievement is probably how it visually hammered home Kazu's fear and obsession. Here is a man who desparately want it all to stop but the fear forces him to watch as it forces him into inaction. The revelations about his wife are slowly driving him insane but not knowing leads down the same path. It's a depressing setup for sure, but despite that, you really can't help but want to read on. Add to that, the twist with the home wrecker was superb, but don't be fooled into thinking he's a good guy. His smile reveals his true intentions, as do his parting words to Kazu which only furthered his neurosis.
Solid 10/10. A NTR masterpiece that is on par with Closet for storytelling. Here's hoping we can get a similiar prequel book too.
Finally got around to reading this now I'm beginning to doubt if the other one is his don't know if Yamakumo would want to make this a trilogy but I'd be interested in a 0 where we find out about her college life but really I'm just fiending for some more of the works I think I heard someone say Closet actually had more parts to it wouldn't mind getting those but yeah art is great definitely worth the purchase
If you didn't like the first one, then the second one isn't gonna change your mind. If you want to see more of the cheating wife, then get this one. I need a prequel with what happened in college or another sequel.
The writing is amazing, the artwork is great. There are a few unnecessary pages in chapter 2 but still comes through as a great addition. I really hope this story continues to one more.
Yamakumo returns with a sequel to Untitled Document and this NTR story did not disappoint! This continues where the previous story left off with the husband continuing to witness his wife being unfaithful through listening in on the recording device he put on his wife’s purse. He eventually confronts his wife’s lover and more context is revealed about the wife. The artist continues to make great art and the sex scenes were hot AF! I really want Yamakumo to continue this storyline by either making a third sequel or a prequel where we see the wife in her college days on how she became a full nympho. Overall this is a solid recommendation for all my fellow degenerates who enjoyed the first part. This 100 page sequel offers more story and hot action that is why it was definitely a purchase for me!
