I don't believe registering deserves an achievement. First post maybe should get you something like "Rookie". Even then, the trend that Fakku has is just "100 Posts" - This user has posted 100 times. "500 Posts" - This user has posted 500 times. etc. It's not very creative and if it were to fall in line with this it would just be "1 post" - This user has posted 1 time.

The web developper might put some "(?)" just next the search button with either a link toward some FAQ page or some tooltip when you mouse over.lol, funny you mention that. I made a thread about something just like that 6 months ago. Fortunately these kinds of threads had stopped being made, but if they're going to start popping up again...

I know I'm probably not the best voice on this since I can read the SFX, but not being able to understand the sex noises isn't the biggest deal. And, if you do truly feel like you are missing out, maybe a mini glossary could be made for the most common SFX in hentai (dopyuu, pan pan, biku biku, etc.). I feel like getting chapters out is more important than the extra time that would be needed to put all the SFX in and make it look pretty. This will be even more true when they add more magazines.

Yeah she kind of took it to 10.5 (not quite 11) but huhu damn, yandere is like playing a horror game--you can get a fun, creepy feeling from it.

I really wasn't sure where to make this thread (gold or not) but, yeah, the recently uploaded chapter Start Line by Kasuga Souichi has a bug where in the reader it says it's by Karma Tatsuro. And then if you click on that name, the page doesn't exist since I think you guys decided to go with Karma Tatsurou (with a "u", though both existed in the past lol).

When I first started reading on Fakku it was all fun and free. The direction it's headed now is actually pretty depressing. It feels that sooner rather than later this site will be 100% velvet rope.I remember an old post by Jacob stating that he founded this site just to see some nude pictures of a girl from an anime (Cant remember who.).
This website turned from a fun, close-knit community into... Well... Crunchyroll... But worse. CR atleast offers it's content to non-premium users, but gates it only temporarily. The way Fakku is... Well it seems they wont be following a similar business model. Sadly because of this once this site turns fully P2P it will lose a lot of foot traffic and the heart and soul of the community will starve.
That is just my 2 cents on the matter, and sadly I think that I will be going elsewhere soon. Regardless of my long history with this site, I dont like the way it's headed.
Pics of Asuka. And here's a thread from 2007 when Jake started the site. He's always wanted to sell manga and work with Japanese publishers to bring hentai to the US.
Also, I'm not sure what your definition of "heart and soul of the community" is because you have 47 posts. To be honest, it's mostly lurkers who never participated in the community who are bailing.
This isnt my first account. Regardless of that I never said that I was the heart and soul, but Ive been here for a long time not always under this user, but here nonetheless.
Okay, cool story. I also said that it's mostly lurkers who never participated that are bailing. So I still don't know what your definition of heart and soul of the community is, unless you mean the Comments Sections, which depresses me to all hell since that was just retarded comments about jerking off, NTR hate, and imaginary dialogues with your penis.

Just trying to say that Ive been coming to Fakku for quite a few years now, and it's sad to see it turning from a great close-knit community to a dark cold hearted business. How is it a dark, cold-hearted business? Jacob and his team talk with the users personally and take their suggestions to heart when improving the website. Jacob even visits IB occasionally. He also said in that thread I linked he'd be giving everyone in that thread free Fakku books forever. I'm sorry you're disappointed, but this isn't being done for the money.

I would buy a set month package like 3, 6 or 12 months. But the service literally came out a few days ago, so it's probably going to take a little bit of time to set up these options, especially with their small team.
As for price, maybe $35 or $34 for 3 months, $65 for 6 months and maybe $120-130 for a year.

The same content that Fakku gives/will give will also be available on other sites, but censored and not translated, so to say, pirated scans. It's not like everything will be lost or everything will be unreachable. And there will also be rips, leaks, etc.Or on torrents a few days later, translated, uncensored and free like it should be.
I really don't get this mentality. Should food be free? Should rent be free? Should your computer be free? Like, what happened to you to make you so entitled?

Hi o/Since I didn't see anything about buying previous months releases, I suppose you're planning to follow one of these two options:
-Becoming a subscriber allow you to see all the releases but in this case it will not be fair for those who paid the months before
-Subscribing only allow you to see the releases of the month you paid for but in this case you will never be able to see the releases of the months you missed.
So did you just forget to explain how to obtain previous releases (or did I miss it) or will you follow one of these options?
This actually has been answered. When you subscribe, you get access to ALL the previous material on the site.

Then I'm also a little disappointed about the direction fakku is taking. This site is here to allow us to share Doujinshi right? Suddenly you decide we should pay for these two magazines. I'm not saying it's bad and I agree with your point of view but either your goal is to become the amazone of the hentai magazines and in this case say it now or you want to remain what you were until now and just be paid for the job you did (and this is ok) but in this case you should not forbid the versions of these chapters made by scantrad teams on the site. EDIT : ofc we would be talking about a b&w censored version of the releasesNot really sure what you're saying, but Jacob's team is doing their own translation for Fakku Books and the magazines are all new material even in Japan, so scanalation teams probably haven't even translated them either. There's no reason to host censored, scanalated chapters when Jacob's team did it and it's uncensored.

Paypal is what this subscription thing needs. Once that's in place, pretty sure lots of people would sign up. I know that's what's holding me back with signing up.....Jacob said he'd try to implement PayPal in the future.

lolol that's fair, buuut you could also end up liking nothing new.
Either way it's a matter of semantics and this conversation has become far too silly lol.

Nice, but there is still a lot of room to improve, like gallery descriptions, artists' info, circle renamings, magazine's information, better tagging, etc. This has always been needed, and now that you are planning to "grow big" you should address these things as well.
We definitely plan to do all of this fairly soon. One of the big benefits of adding a subscription to FAKKU is that it gives us a stable operating income each month (where books are more variable based on artist/title). With that we can really start to invest in those kinds of quality of life changes.
These are all good ideas and I especially agree with the tags one. I used to not care in the past, but after seeing the abundance of tags on, say, Ex, I think it's time Fakku starts catching up. When new tags are implemented, I'd be willing to be a helper to retroactively tag uploaded manga if that's something you guys think might be useful.

There are months I dislike because too much of oppai or other stuffs, or lacking of drawing appealing to me or vanilla anal, etc.Don't assume everybody would develop a (new) fetish just for the sake of "changing".
For example there are people who will never become fujoshis and fudanshis, etc. It's not being "homophobic", just that you're not bi-curious and all. It applies for any fetish.
People change over the time but each on his/her own. So remain the fact : to each, his/her own.
I'm not assuming they would, I was just agreeing with Volaverunt that it's a possibility, especially since it happened to me.

Can we subscribe to a particular artist or artists? That way we can be informed of uploads of new things which would cater to individual tastes. For example i'd sign-on but would want only Napata or Homunuculus as the the ones i have access to/informed of but don't want other stuff like those artists typically known for forced, ntr. Just asking. If you click on an artist's information, there's a subscribe button. It'll send you a notification every time a work of theirs is uploaded.

Furthermore, the removal of "controversial" content awhile back "affected" me very much, as nearly 3 years of favourites were removed and I don't even know the titles of them to this day...
Jacob made the favorites export tool a couple weeks ago so you can see what the favorites you had were. https://www.fakku.net/forums/feedback-suggestions-and-support/favorites-collections-export

This might work for both of you but stop with the "everybody do !" attitude.
We're all adult and some if not lot of us just know precisely what is to their liking because they are more of the fetish/anti-[...]-fetish type rather than "adventurer readers" or what.
Lot of people have venture on the drug path, must I try just because they did ? Hell no, I do what I really want too.
First off, yikes, I was just agreeing with Volaverunt. I wasn't saying you have to try it, I was just agreeing that it's possible for preferences to change. I used to be creeped out by loli, but now I read it. Dunno what happened, but it happened.

On a same note, lot of hentai readers have die-hard fetish/es or even what I would call anti-fetish/es (meaning : being turned off by some tropes). You aren't bound to have the same one/s as said readers but they also not bound to not have any, should you have no real fetish or anti-fetish.By the way, I'm from the fetishists & anti-fetishists side so I share this view point :

Personally I don't care much for subscriptions to porn sites, not because of the "you can get it for free" argument, but more of the "it's like taxes" argument. You pay taxes, most of the time its the same amount each year. The taxes are to go towards government services. Some services you don't agree with, and you have no control over where your money goes. Same with subscriptions. You pay 13 bucks a month, but if you don't care much for a certain genre then a month filled with that genre is a wasted month to you. This is an okay point, but I doubt that there will be a month filled with a fetish you dislike considering they are publishing 2 magazines and it's not like they do "NTR" month or something. This problem will be even further lessened when Fakku adds more magazines like BEAST and Shitsurakuten.
