Next game will be 1 round per day and shall continue until there is no one left to claim.Total reset with each new anime season.
Claim limit will be your Post Count divided by the number of years you've been a member.
And I'll start drafting members to participate.
Er, so if you've been a member for a year and have 500 posts, you get 500 slots? Seems like this actually favors people who have been here a shorter amount of time. Also, what if you don't even have one year here? That's division by 0, which is undefined.

For my last, I claim Shantae from the Shantae series.

Theres no phsycal delivery its a subscripcion to web content so you are going to read it trought fakku website. as far as i know at least. You're right. It's a web-based subscription service.
What the heck is this propaganda?!
I was looking at the prices for both Comic X-Eros and Comic Kairakuten magazines on amazon.jp and they are priced around 4-6 dollars (new, August edition, not counting shipping). It would be awesome to get the physical (translated) magazines too.
You have to understand we'd have to then translate those books, edit those books, send the content to China and send drafts to the united states, approve/make changes, send changes, and then print (2) 400+ page books... and it'd have to be available every month. It takes ~2 months for a normal size 200 book to be printed and shipped to the United States and mailed out.
The subscription gives you an online service monthly without the long ass wait.
I thought this was already in the process. If it takes more than two months to print and ship then print domestically, it'll save on shipping costs too. I'm sure the US didn't destroy their only printer in that scene from "Office Space".
If you've paid attention in the forums we've talked quite extensively about printing and trying to find local printers. The US doesn't want to print this type of material in chance of some of their other customers find out and not want to associate themselves with that printer.
The idea can't be locked away forever and shame those who bring up the idea. Keep on asking around. Now with the magazines, you tell the printing companies that you guys are going to be constantly pumping out books. That's money and work for them and denying that offer is childish on their part just because they won't print such beautiful pieces of art. If they don't like the idea of being seen as printing "Adult material" then see if they can create a separate division that allows you to print without it being associated (Example - Cartoon Network for young viewers, Adult Swim for mature viewers) and make it as an extension of Fakku!. If you think Fakku! can't handle over 1,000 pages of editing and waiting for approvals then downsize it to the 400-600 pages and BAM Fakku! Magazine every month.
I would much rather have a book than a digital copy that can disappear with hard drive failure, bad internet, forgetting the password to your account then forgetting the password of your email to reset that account (account lockout). Heck, a solar storm can wipe out every electrical device on the earth.
To me, paying for the physical book justifies the cost. Anything that comes with it is a nice extra and is usually not a requirement. Now, we have to pay for something that is digital and that can be easily taken away from us.
Also, non-members won't be able to read anything since all of the unlicensed content is being taking down and what's left is a price tag. Ads will and must be gone since we are forced to pay for a digital subscription which means the end of Fakku! Gold.
To be honest this seems like a huge hassle. I understand the fear of losing all your content since it's digital (I myself hate the growing trend of DLing video games instead of discs), but in this case, giant tankoubans would be brutal to print and ship all over the world. People are already paying the same price as the book in shipping for a 200 page manga; I can't imagine how much it would cost the customer to ship two 400+ page magazines to them.
I mean, it's decent idea, but demanding printers do it because it's free money doesn't mean they're going to do it. Fear of losing business is a powerful motivator and it's why customer appeasing happens all the time.

-useless snip-And people wonder why I think the majority of lurkers in this site are a bunch of whiny babies who think they're entitled to free porn of all things.
Believe me when I say I was one of the first to think all the lurkers were entitled, but if you look at the beta test thread for the new service, there are 11 pages of volunteers--over 3/4 of which I bet are lurkers. And that costs money. So, while I would say most entitled babies are lurkers, I wouldn't say most lurkers are entitled babies.
Edit: though that drinking game would kill you lol

If, for example, they did remove favorites and removed upvotes (extreme example obvs), I'm sure users would cause an uproar and say "Um, why??". So if a large enough change was made in a changelog, an explanation might be demanded. This is where I think a Community Manager probably would be useful.Sure context is important but only for the more significant changes. Still mad Jacob removed freedom to use css in posts, in order to level the forums with the comment section. But Jacob has no obligation to explain why he wants to remove something.
You're correct Jacob has no obligation and, for the most part, I'm sure most changelog entries wouldn't require explanation (added book, bug fixes, etc.), but for any big changes, either Jacob or a representative should be around to explain at least a little to prevent something like that hysteria months ago. At least for good PR purposes.

We have a tentative release schedule for the rest of the year that we plan on making public at some point. It's sometimes a little hard to give people a up to date schedule on things going on. Especially when it's things like this subscription that'll be happening soon. It's not really an issue where we're purposely not transparent with everyone regarding the subscription process. It's more that it wasn't even necessarily always transparent to us and we had to work through it because it was a new process to us. Now that we have a handle on things we're able to make more announcements and start beta testing soon. Then there's more transparency on the issue because we know what everything that's going on to assure everyone on what's happening and how.
If we had a weekly newsletter on what was going on during the process, it could potentially cause confusion and assumptions made. Like for example, if there's a bottle neck with something, people could jump to conclusions that we're not gonna do it, that it's GG guys. When in reality it's just a matter of working out the issue and moving forward. You can see that even with the favorites. We said we were going to make an archive where people can reference their titles, but we still got quite a handful of "The end is nigh!" sayers despite actively working on coding it. It can be off putting to others who are reading in on the situation and can cause them unnecessary alarm.
As far as the calendar goes that YQII mentioned, it's for the books. We've been doing it a year now and we have more hands on deck to do work and a general idea how long it takes us now, how long printing takes etc. So we're able to make more accurate time frames now. Give us a bit with subscriptions and you'll have full transparency on when you can expect them available too once we get all our ducks in a row.
Which is why changelogs are ideal. They are short and to the point. And you don't have to tell people what you are doing, only the result of it.
Changelog
Spoiler:
While I agree changelogs can also be good, often people want context. I know it's not the same, but when I played League of Legends and someone got nerfed or buffed, players would sometimes rage and then a dev might have to jump in on the forums and explain why they nerfed/buffed whoever.
If, for example, they did remove favorites and removed upvotes (extreme example obvs), I'm sure users would cause an uproar and say "Um, why??". So if a large enough change was made in a changelog, an explanation might be demanded. This is where I think a Community Manager probably would be useful.

I agree a newsletter of some sort detailing current events would be helpful. I remember there being mention of a Community Manager position that was supposed to be a thing and I guess it could be a responsibility. There could be potential concerns of leaking information but an NDA could help with that or Jacob just chooses a trustworthy individual to be the Community Manager.
Either way, what I got from your post is: be thankful for the stuff we've gotten and more transparency would be helpful, possibly through a newsletter.
I agree, especially about the information since once the new service launches, I bet people will have both questions and complaints and Jacob will probably want someone to be around to handle that stuff quickly and efficiently. If the launch of the service is handled poorly, it'll be bad for business. Jake should probably think about the PR side of this carefully, especially after all the rage from people about lack of transparency thus far.

This also gives those of you who were hesitant to purchase it a chance to see what's inside.Unfortunately, I wish there had been some preview kind of thing beforehand like another user mentioned. I was excited because XXX Mix was gonna have futanari in it but, oh, dang, only the last chapter and another chapter really has any. I know we were warned of egg laying and tentacles and I thought "That's fine; I've seen some shit in my days." but I had no idea that'd be the whole book. Not to mention there was loads and loads of stomach deformation, which we also don't have a tag for and I'm not the biggest fan of.
So, I'm glad I supported Bosshi because I love my Peachy Butt Girls and will almost certainly get the next book, but sadly XXX Mix was read once and will probably never be read again.

Will there be a monthly subscription so that you can access the total library or how is this subscription meant? Either way i am happy to support you and hope that in the future we can perhaps have sales for manga (christmas valentine or such) or will there be no sales at all?
Oh hohoho. It's going to be so much more than the book library. Fakku is simul publishing H-magazines in Japan so we're getting loads of uncensored content from different artists all the time in addition to more books like Puni Kano being available for purchase.

I noticed that Fakku makes shirts based off of ones found in manga or anime, like the Nichijou OBK shirt, the FACKMAN shirt, and the ever famous Mega Milk.A few years ago, Jacob posted a Miray Ozaki manga titled Pop Life (it's since been deleted from the archives) and noted a particularly humorous shirt that the protagonist wore that said "FUCK HOUSE WORK". Any chance that this one is humorous enough to consider?
The shirt in question:
Spoiler:
Also I think the back says "I heart my Hysteric" because later a girl has a shirt that says "Hysteric XXX" on it.
Spoiler:
Edit: Also, I think I can make out the bottom of the Fuck House Work circle saying "Hysteric Glamour". I think Hysteric is a theme because a dude in the manga also has a shirt with Hysteric on it.

These functions probably won't be implemented until Fakku has finished their transition to a fully legal site. Right now they're removing unlicensed content to make way for the new, uncensored, licensed content. It's why the tags are all effed up right now. Some tags like loli, incest, and forced have no content so they're hidden until they get new content.

There actually used to be a quick reply form at the bottom of the page a long time ago so you could post while still seeing the whole page. Dunno what happened to it though. Would be handy to have again.
