and at other moments it seems as though people just can't help but like me ;DI find this statement very hard to believe.
OT: I guess harder to like people. It's not difficult to be a decent person and garner respect, but there are many arrogant and douchey people out there to dislike.

Just a quick question, are you a professional on this subject, or is it just because you're enthused on this subject? Enthused.
Also, I have a question for Illumia. I went out with a girl in high school for 2 years and it was a pretty good relationship but she was occasionally emotionally abusive, threatening to break up if I didn't do X, etc. When I left for college and she kept pulling this shit, I finally had enough and just said "fuck it, fuck you, I'm done" and it ended in a pretty messy break up over the phone.
Over the course of college I learn not to be a little bitch and, from what I hear, she stopped being crazy and matured. So fast forward about 5 years (a year ago), I decided I'd give her a random visit at her house because I wanted to see what she was like. She was surprised, obviously, but we talked for like 4 hours and it wasn't really that weird. Apparently she had gotten a boyfriend who's like 3 years older than her. I don't really care.
So I go to Japan for a year and now I'm back, but I've had dreams about her every now and then, so I wonder if I still have latent feelings for her. And back in high school, we really did get along well aside from the shit she'd occasionally pull. So, now that we're both older and more mature, I sort of want to try going out with her again. However, she kind of has a boyfriend. So, it's like, should I tell her?

I went to Japan Anime 2014 last weekend and Sony had their headset thing at a booth available for demo, so I got to try it after waiting in line. It was cool and all, but it was essentially just a TV really close to your eyes because it didn't cover 180 degrees of your vision. In other words, there was still black space in your peripheral vision so the immersion was somewhat ruined. It also gave me a headache. I took a video of someone else using it and a TV monitor displaying what they were seeing so you can get an idea of what it's like, but I'm too lazy to upload it right now because it's on my phone.
I'm sure in the future this technology will be refined, but for now it's a little meh in my opinion.

Depending on the definition of success, a good example I can think of is my brother's (and mine I guess) friend. He just has so much raw talent. He will be graduating college this year and Microsoft has already offered him a 6 figure programming job. What he excels at is breaking down how something works and optimizing it; making it better. He came over our house one day and we were all briefly getting back into the .hack//ENEMY card game (it's silly), and he had never played before. We explained the basic rules to him and he took one of my not-so-good decks that he liked the concept of and made it at least 3 times better just like that. The reason Microsoft offered him a job is because they proposed some kind of situation and asked applicants to demonstrate how they would solve it. His solution was in the top 5%. It's not like he's a genius, he's just really, really good at whatever he puts his mind to.
For me, success is just achieving your goals. Recently, something happened to me that really effed up my plans for the next year and it sucks. I feel like I failed myself. However, everyone is like "What? You didn't fail anything! You should be happy, blah blah" And I suppose they're right to a certain extent because I'm fine, but deep down it still feels sucky.

No offense, but if you're gonna be writing, you might want to work on your spelling and grammar.

In hentai, dicks never go flaccid for more than 5 seconds. In hentai, pussies always have the property of being intensely hot and making dicks feel like they will melt.

Religion "degrades" society no more than smoking or alcohol. Because, guess what, not everyone participates. Yeah, there are influential figures, but, like I said, not everyone participates. And if you want to "get rid" of religion, then you might as well "get rid" of all vices that "degrade" society. And I can tell your opinion is obviously one based on North America. If you considered others like maybe Shinto or Buddhism, I fail to see how they "degrade" anything.
religion hasn't degraded anything, when it comes down to it the simple fact is religion isn't a person its a thing, idea, group. people fill these groups and that's the point people create problems with other people and the quickest way to start a fight is pick something out of moral code, book, belief. its just naive to say that.
you do realize that without ever having religion, we probably wouldn't be sitting here using a computer. religion was the start of morals like do not kill or treat someone nicely and stuff that make up a code of laws.
no, i'm sorry i cant even draw you a mental picture it's to difficult to explain everything. go ask a human geography teacher why its important, it might help better than i can.
....Did you understand my post at all? I'm agreeing with you (to a certain extent).

"One user cannot try to complete the set on his own for the bonus. It must be a collaborative effort across several users."
Pretty sure someone can't claim 5 girls then have one other user claim one and call it a fair set. I know the call is up to Jack, but I want to say I saw somewhere the most you can have in a set is 2 or 3 girls to claim it.

it's a choice, and it degrades society for reasons I've already posted. It's not that I "hate" religion on a personal level. That would be like "hating" cancer. I just want to be rid of it. Of course, I know simply saying "make religion illegal!" would be absolutely stupid. All I can do is explain why it's a bad choice. Here's my post from the "oh gods!" thread.Chat wrote...
Now, how can religion be harmful, you say? I'm sure you'll admit to the common terrorist example, but call it an extreme case. Fair enough. What about evolution though? You've seen people like Ken Ham on TV, I'm sure of it. You think they aren't doing harm by being idiots? They absolutely are. "Name one thing that couldn't be invented without believing in evolution," says Ken? Blow me. Belief in evolution has allowed us to trace our relations to other animals and develop all sorts of things. Humans relation to apes once allowed us to use them as psycological test subjects and make huge advances in understanding the human mind. Course' most of that's illegal now. Though there are things aside from the obvious example. We have the same mechanism for creating memory as sea slugs. Would we be know this without believing in a common ancestor? Nope. Not to mention medicine. All sorts of diseases are fought because we can look at animals as a means of better understanding ourselves. Anyone acting as if things like genesis deserve respect makes developing those cures harder to do. They make it harder to vaccinate children, to find the cure for cancer, to save lives. What reason do I have to believe in religion anyway, outside of the reasons I have to "believe in"?

Just make 4 posts a day. Then in a week you'll have made 28 and in 2 weeks you'll have over 50. And if you need over a 100 posts just go for 3 and a half weeks.

It's pretty commonplace. I did it all the time if not every time.
