This was a request that I did for someone on pixiv. The characters are Alisa and Momoka from Keroro Gunsou. I'm pretty sure the anatomy here is really fucked up. This was my first time attempting this kind of position. Eventually I sort of gave up and was like "fuck it, close enough".

Buying the console was worth it
How is that a scam? The games I want to play are on consoles only so I have no other choice, right? There's nothing ignorant about that. I can't control developers and tell them to make PC versions of their games.
A console is essentially a personal computer, it has very, very similar hardware and is capable of performing the same tasks. But, a console has an operating system that limits the capabilities of what the user is able to do with that hardware, why? Because that allows the companies that produce them to have greater control of your gaming experience. It also allows them to impose even more retarded limitations and unethical DRM solutions. They are scamming you by making you pay more for less, making you think you actually have to buy into their bullshit. It's not the developers that are scamming you, it's Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
If people stopped supporting consoles, there would be zero need to buy three entirely different types in order to play the exclusives they want. Everything would be produced universally for the a single, upgradable, consumer repairable system. Developers would have access to a much wider audience and wouldn't have to choose one market over another. If you buy a console, you are playing into that bullshit and allowing yourself to be screwed. On the bright side, you get to play your 'exclusives' and if you seriously want to support this retarded scam for control and money you are a blind sheep. You are the cause of forking money out of your ass to play exclusive games and deal with retarded limitations.

Well, if you can destroy the console market and make it so that games are made only for PCs then go right ahead. If a game I'm interested in is only on consoles then there's nothing I can do about it.
Also, I don't "fork money out of my ass" either. About 95% of the games I play don't even have online features. The only thing I buy is the console, the game, and rarely some DLC. I play a lot of JRPGs on my PS3 and Sony really doesn't fuck with my experience. The people that do fuck with my experience are the localization companies but that's another topic altogether.[/h]
That kind of thought pattern is the same reason greedy and corrupt organizations are able to run rampant. 'There's nothing I can do about it', please, you could try looking for other games to play; there are thousands of them out there that are just as enjoyable, eastern and western. In the end if you buy the console you're still allowing yourself to be screwed out of your money, less for more, but it's your choice. I'm not trying to force you not to participate in the sham, just pointing out that it does in fact exist and that people have little idea how ridiculous and greedy the concept of consoles are in this day and age.
Alright, let's say I decide to buy a PS4 a year after it's release. At this point there's at least 5+ games that I really want for it. What do I do? I could not buy it but will that do shit? Probably not. There needs to be a significant amount of people who don't buy it to really impact sales. If you can organize some kind of "consoles suck; don't buy them" campaign then be my guest. In simpler terms; the majority of people don't think like you. There will be some PC elitists who don't buy it but that number probably won't matter too much overall. I don't think Sony is some greedy/corrupt/unethical company either so I don't mind supporting them. To be clear, I'm not against PC gaming. The main thing I give a shit about is games and whatever platform they're on is not under my control. Would it be nice if everything was playable on one system? Hell yes it would but that's not how things currently work. Will anything change if everyone has the thought pattern of "there's nothing I can do about it"? Of course it won't but I can't change the general mindset of people and I'm assuming you can't either. This being said, I actually won't support a company if they do something I'm strongly against. Sony doesn't fall into this "strongly against" category though. They do have some things about them that I dislike but nothing bad enough for me to not buy a PS4.
"you could try looking for other games to play; there are thousands of them out there that are just as enjoyable, eastern and western."
Why would I do that? I know what I like and it's not as simple as "looking for other games". The majority of the games I like are Japanese anyways. If you know anything about Japanese games then you should know that a lot of them are on consoles only.
There are plenty of things Sony has done that have been deemed greedy and corrupt, just because you haven't heard about them doesn't mean they don't exist. Naturally people generally only ever notice the things that affect their own life and not others, so I can't really blame you for that because it's true for most people and even myself.
Changing the mindset of the people isn't actually all that hard, but the "I'm just one man what can I do?" conundrum often stops it from happening. In reality you probably have friends on PSN or Live no? All it takes is for a few hundred people to talk to one or two of their friends and getting them to change their views to start a chain reaction, social virality. However, if no one ever actually takes the initiative, nothing will ever happen.
On top of that, you have the ethical choice, are you okay with giving into your own desires even if it means supporting an unethical concept?
Like I said though, at the end of the day it's your choice; ethically and logically. If you feel your pleasures are more important than refusing to support a broken system then by all means, buy the console, play the games. It's not my right to judge you based on that so it's not like I will think less of you for it, not that the judgement of some random person on the internet should matter anyway.
Exactly what does Sony (or Nintendo or Microsoft) do that makes them so unethical? I know you said something about DRM but what else?
On top of that, you have the ethical choice, are you okay with giving into your own desires even if it means supporting an unethical concept?
Yes and no. If Sony is out murdering and raping people then I obviously wouldn't support them.

Welp, I hope you enjoy fighting battles you can't win, because this argument was over before it began.
Something that requires little skill to play is not viable as a hardcore game and the skill ceiling for RPGs is low enough that a six year old wouldn't have a problem reaching it. Just because you spend a lot of time playing it doesn't make you hardcore. Or what, Are people who spend hours on end playing Bejewled hardcore gamers now too? Please, it's fucking insulting.

I'm not talking about specifications I'm talking about utility. Console operating systems are needlessly limited, consoles have the full hardware capacity to be real computers that can handle a multitude of applications, but they're not and you're an idiot if you buy them.
Back in the day they didn't have the capacity to handle any application and just the games that were designed for them. When they did eventually reach a point where they had the hardware to be fully functional computers companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo instead decided to play on that, all in a ploy to reap greater profits, limit your ability to use the hardware thereby giving them greater control over your experience and money. If you seriously still think that consoles are technically viable you're an ignorant sheep who blindly believes and takes part in a greedy scam for control.
Also, don't even try the "lol exclusives" argument, you wouldn't have to buy three different fucking consoles if idiots like you had any semblance of common sense. The only way to change anything is to simply stop whoring yourself out for overpriced scams and supporting the people who employ them.
If anyone thinks they can come up with a viable argument against what I've written I'd love to shoot it down.[/h]
You're generalizing way too much. You seem to think every console game is easy and therefore casual? Casual games are like Farmville and the shit people play on smartphones. You're coming across as an elitist douche right now. The only thing that matters are games. For example, I play a lot of Japanese RPGs and the large majority of them are on consoles only. Therefore, I buy a console if I want to play them. It's that simple. It has nothing to do with whoring myself out or being an ignorant sheep. I'm not sure why you seem to hate consoles so much.
Also, I still find your view of "hardcore" and "casual" to be very odd. Give me some examples of games you find "hardcore". Not that it matters either way. I play games because I enjoy them and not so that I can stroke my dick to how "hardcore" I am.
Oh and Demons Souls
- RPG
- Console only
- Not a game for 6 year olds or soccer moms
- Sure as hell not casual
- Not impossible by any means but it still does require some skill
I never said anything about time spent playing equating to hardcore either. That was Futabot.
I was referring to RPGs, I fail to see how that makes what I'm saying a general statement about every single game played on consoles, but thanks for taking my words completely out of context. In my earlier reply I even mentioned that racing and fighting games can be considered viable for hardcore play.
Just because the only thing that matters to you are the games doesn't mean you're not playing into a scam for control over your gaming experience. If anything that just proves what I was saying earlier about you being part of the blind and ignorant masses.
A hardcore game needs to have e-sports capabilities and the majority of RPGs simply aren't viable for e-sports play; especially not ones like Demon Souls. A hardcore gamer needs to be competitive, skilled and in it to win. A few years ago my standards were different but in this day and age a huge amount of people are into games, new standards need to be set. It's not like it was back in the day; I'm not going to consider every fourteen year old out there who sits at their xbawks and plays Call of Duty for eight hours a day a hardcore gamer. Frankly it's insulting when they consider themselves as such.
Also, I got the chance to play through Demon Souls via borrowing a console from my friend after he continually berated me to try it out. Maybe it's all those years of competitive gaming behind me, or the fact that I've played through a few hundred RPGs in my time, or the fact that I've seen a few thousand game mechanics succeed and fail... Demon's Souls was like child's play to me. Predictable attack patterns, obvious gear choices, it was not a hard game in any sense of the imagination. It's not like Total War, Quake, DotA or Counter-strike where I can go up against a real person that might have the ability to react faster and outwit me.
You know what, I am being an elitist prick! I take pride in my ability, pride in my experience; if you don't like it, tough shit.
The main point is that RPGs and consoles in general are not exclusively for "casuals". You may find RPGs to be easy but throwing them all into the "casual" category is just plain retarded. Again, casual games are like smartphone games and other easily accessible stuff that anyone can play. I never said anything about CoD fags being hardcore either.
Also, I'm still not quite sure why buying a console is a scam.
Here's an example. Let's say...
I have 5+ games that I'm interested in and really want to play
They're all on consoles only
I have money so I buy the console and games
I play the games and enjoy them
Money well spent
More console only games are released that I want
I buy them
Buying the console was worth it
How is that a scam? The games I want to play are on consoles only so I have no other choice, right? There's nothing ignorant about that. I can't control developers and tell them to make PC versions of their games.
