Finished episode 4. Things sure took a nosedive in no time flat.In terms of quality of the show, or shit hitting the fan?
Cliffhanger.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi - 9.5/10It's pushing all of my non-lewd buttons.
Not even finished yet, mate.
It's that good, brah.
/a/ said the manga turns weird after the half way point.
I'm not subscribed nor do I masturbate to the content here, I use other sites. Nice edit, Jacob.
The stuff I see on the front page looks pretty good though.

Depends on the sales. Sakurako didn't really have any over-arcing story so a second season isn't needed. It's worse with shows like Amagi Brilliant Park and No Game No Life, that ends with a cliffhanger. Those kinds of endings bring no closure to the story whatsoever.
I missed Oremonogatari. I made a list of the shows I thought was noteworthy from last year check it out over here.
It was alright. The best shows out of Fall was One-Punch Man and Owarimonogatari. Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider ended up being disappointing but it was also okay.
Baby, It's Blue from Genius Party
Short by Shinichiro Watanabe. Just watch it. P.S the short is actually 13 minutes long.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's
Pretty typical. I didn't get anything out of it to be honest.
Dead Leaves
Can you even be more over the top than this? Watch this if you like FLCL or TTGL.
Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World
Fantastic show about Kino and the weird countries she visits. It's similar to Mushishi, however in Kino the problems are caused by humans. While in Mushishi, mushi is the cause of the issue.
The second episode does the best job to telling you of what is to come.
Mobile Police Patlabor: The Movie
I liked how it added science into the mystery. Everything else is pretty solid.
Mobile Police Patlabor: The Movie 2
Just as good the first movie but with more politics and philosophy. Feels strangely realistic. I also love the cast, all the characters interact with each other as if it was live action.
Ocean Waves
It felt very realistic and it never used common anime tropes. I really enjoyed this one.
Texhnolyze
The slow pace was a breath of fresh air. And the soundtrack was one of the best I've heard in a while. In short, I enjoyed this much more than Lain. Lain is still a masterpiece in its own right.
Michiko to Hatchin
It was alright. They got the setting down and the relationship between Michiko and Hatchin developed subtly and realistically.
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
Erio was bestgirl by far but other than that it was pretty average.
Bounen no Xamdou
Basically a better version of Eureka Seven. Eureka was slow and felt like there was filler in every episode just to slow it down even further. Xam'd isn't plagued by that at all. Although the ending is a little weird, I was fine with it because it at least gave closure. Also Nakiami bestgirl.
