Don't be lazy, and I say this in good jest so don't bite me please. A lot of sites are set up similar to this format, and I've never really had a problem with it, that's all.

I find that users are more concerned about staying logged in as opposed to logging in itself.

@spaxxor: I wrote this in your PM, but it's the same thing and I'll post it here so that others can ponder.

If you read the thread, one of the primary reasons that I wrote was that this new refurbished page of rules/FAQs will now give the appropriate legal firepower to the staff where the rule breakers no longer have excuses of, "I couldn't find the rules or FAQs," or, "There's so many rules that I couldn't memorize them," and the like. We also have rules and FAQs that are specific to FAKKU, so it should be worth noting that down in a rules/FAQ page. I keep stressing that my main point is that most or all forums have a setup of a page/section solely dedicated to the rules, and FAKKU should too. This page of rules/FAQs will be all the reason rule breakers need to understand the disciplinary action that was assigned to them. The other thing to note is that our rules and FAQs are really scattered and not in obvious locations, so this will be easy reference.

@Jacob: Yeah, I forgot that a rep log tells the complete history of who/what/where you got repped, my bad. (This is obviously stemming from a lack of encounters with the rep system.) I guess showing the latest 10 posts isn't so bad... maybe limit it to 5? Up to the admins anyway. I say 5 only because regular users like me don't get rep as often as uploaders do, so I'll be lucky if I can even get 1 rep a week.

I guess then the only thing that makes this improvement not a rep log is that it doesn't tell you who repped you specifically. I dunno, it sounds too close to a rep log for comfort. I guess we'll wait and see, eh?

@nacho: Would it be worth searching the hundreds of posts that gave you the rep? I wouldn't think so. Most members are quite aware of when they get +/- repped, and usually it's because of some recent post/upload that he/she made. So why bother instituting the rep log? No need. The point is that you shouldn't bother searching, but when you do come across it, you'll know what you got repped on. This is not meant to encourage similar behavior to win more reps, or else we'd put in a rep log, which for the following reasons you quoted me on are why we shouldn't have a rep log.
