Generalization of what I seen. Nothing is exact to all people. Every one is a snowflake.

After careful observation and working those types of jobs, I figured out a general profile of people who tip, who don't, and the amount.

People who tip:
Lower class working people: Most of the time they also work or work those types of jobs and in states where they are paid federal foodservice wages(2.75-4.25hr) tips are necessary for living. Place like cali you're paid 9$ min wage but tips are necessary since the cost of living is higher.
Middle class non white collar: They can afford a 20% tip.
Govt workers: They eat out a lot and usually in a few place out of a short lunch time. If you stiff people who see you a lot then the service is meh. Tip enough your usually served better.

People who don't:
Mexicans: a big majority... damn near all of them don't. A fair number of American born do... but my pops don't... i have to go to the bathroom and sneak back to the table and leave some.
Yunopoors from non English speaking nations: It not like they don't tip back home but they think they're sneaky because they fake no knowing it.
Chinese: I have never see it ever. Chinese nationals... the American or Canadian do and they tip well. Non of the other asians do this. Indians also tip bad.

People tip bad:
Blacks and Jews. Not even a racial thing. Most tip tax or barely tax. General rule is double tax with is 15-16%

People who tip good:
Middle class and people who like their service and see the people hustle for that tip.
The japs do tip well. Generally 25%.


If the person served you well you should tip them at least 15%. Remember ever fuck with people who touch your food. They can and have did something with it if your a cunt.
