@Klown were not saying it will last for 10 years sony said thats how long the PS3 will be the flagship. ( gucess thats when PS4 will come out ) Also its just a assumption sense both the PS1 & PS2 started off terribly then later became great successes.

No, I started this like 5 months back, so I don't have anything that old. I don't even have that poster that led to Raze and Jacob's current avatars.

I really don't why people are are saying Nintendo has abandoned the core market. Last time I checked, they released Zelda: TP, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Mario Kart and Battalion Wars in the past 2 years. That's basically almost all of the game people were asking for. They even said they're working on Pikmin 3.
Also, people gotta realized that the new E3 is not aim at gamers but stockholders. Obviously, they want to see what's gonna make the most money this and next year. You really can't blame Nintendo for hyping Wii Sports 2 or Music. Just checked the sales for Wii Play and you'll see why.
Thats just it, its the same thing. Mario this mario that, Zelda this zelda that. Sorry but to me the Wii is nothing but a gimmick. Wii has made nothing that I thought was creative and innovative. Don't say that the console its self is innovative either because games is what I mean.
I just really want to see what the cell processor can do in say year 3 & 4 +. Killzone 2 looks mighty impressive. BTW wasn't there a mystery game that Sony was showing at E3 that was behind " Closed doors "?

Also I had forgotten exactly how long the PS2 was the flagship. 10 years, is a long time. Its almost a copy of what the PS2 did as the PS3 is doing now. SLOW start but EPIC WIN.
