Mistakes can happen. Suck it up and watch the other ones. To me, Death Battle was never really about making accurate battles. It's about making entertaining battles with all the powers taken into account of, and then just deciding the winner randomly, and giving them a "logical" reason for why they won. If you ask me, Wiz and Boomstick figured they might as well throw it out there just because fans wanted it, not because they wanted to. Maybe that's why it seems so "half-assed" to you.

Another problem I see with this is that Goku was just given a new form in a recent DBZ movie, and Superman comics are continuously made, with no one ever knowing how much the limit will be expanded in an issue. It's kind of stupid to just keep adding to that, if you ask me.

tl;dr you guys just wanted Goku vs Superman, you got that. No one said it had to be accurate or good. Deal with it.
