Suddenly a burst of fire flew at Alma and Charlotte forcing them to retreat next to Emma. Leona ran, and stood next to Nero to cover him. Zhou and Fenfang dashed out in front to lend their support, but mainly to protect their queen.
“Sorry we took so long,” said Leona. “The commons are clear, we’re ready to move on with the plan.” As Leona entered the area her spirit form was canceled. “What is this?” she asked.
“Move back, your Majesty - your spiritual energy may be negated even further here,” Louise stated, warning her apparent Queen. She then looked back towards her opponents, not quite certain how to deal with the situation. All she could conclude with certainty was that the stain in her dress was making her agitated with each passing moments.
“Yes,” answered Leona as she moved back away from the representatives.
Arkasia breathed a sigh of relief. With Nero down, she wasn’t sure how much longer they would have lasted if they didn’t show up.“It’s a relief to see you, my Queen,” said Arkasia as she stood next to the royal guard ready to continue the fight.
Alma and Charlotte looked at each other before taking off with Emma into the royal section of the city.
“Dammit! After them!” yelled Arkasia,
Louise sighed deeply. “Haaah, I really need a new dress. May I go home and get changed real quick, my Queen?” Louise said, glaring at her injury.
Leona looked at her with a blank stare. “What? You are worried about that at a time like this? What about your wound?!”
“Of course, the dress makes the lady,” Louise replied - as she walked past the Queen - instantly without a spec of hesitation. Dumbfounded that Leona IV didn’t think the same. “Oh? This?” Louise asked, pointing at her wound after turning to face her. “I intend to provide medication before I change.”
“We kinda need you now don’t you think?” said Arkasia turning to watch Louise walk away.
“You do? I believe my spellcasting squad is good enough, for now. I’ll be back after I… uh, change and bandage this annoying little wound,” Louise answered, frowning at her tarnished dress, not quite affected by the cut itself. She started casting her teleportation spell regardless of the stares and replies she received. Not willing to listen, she’d take leave to get a spare change of clothes regardless.
Arkasia was blown away by the sheer lack of responsibility shown by Louise. Her opinion of the woman was beginning to change. “Ignore her, lets press our advantage while we still have one to speak of!” said Arkasia. Two soldier ran up to her, and saluted.
“Orders, sir?” said one of them.
“Take Nero to the healers, and get him taken care of,” she said before turning to Nero. “You fought well, we will take it from here.” Nero knew he was in no shape to refuse, but he couldn’t help but feel useless
“Yes sir,” he answered as the two soldiers came to both side of him. Nero kept pressure on his wound as he was helped off the bridge, and back to the commons. Arkasia looked out to the forest. She hoped that Owain’s unit was at least still alive.
“The rest of you follow me! We move to take the royal sector!” order Arkasia raising her sword into the air. Her army cheered behind her as they moved to follow her command.
The royal sector was all but empty save for a few soldiers here and there. Arkasia expected to find an entire force here ready to fight, but all she found were ransacked buildings and trashed streets. Still on her guard, Arkasia kept her swords drawn as her eyes darted back and forth to each window, and doorway. The ambushes she expected never came.
“Half of you spread out, and check every building. Report back if you find anything of interest,” ordered Arkasia. “The rest of you are with me. We will clear the castle.” The knights divided up the groups, and moved out to follow orders. Leona, Zhou, and Fenfang walked cautiously with Arkasia’s group towards the castle.
The walk there was uneventful aside from a few soldiers that had literally lost their minds, and were wandering the down spouting nonsense. Arkasia had her men put them out of their misery just to shut them up. As they reached the castle, the looked in at the front doors broken in. Upon entering the stone caste they saw ashes blanketing the floor.
Zhou kneeled down taking some of the ashes between his fingers.
“Fenfang, this is the same as the figures in Masario town,” said Zhou. His voice was deeper than his appearance showed. Fenfang walked over and took a look.
“Then there might be more of them around here. We need to check the rooms carefully.” replied Fenfang. Her voice was still that of a young girl.
“Then we will need to split into two groups,” said Arkasia. “One to clear the upper floors, and the other with me. We need to check on it still.”
“I will lead the group to clear the up floors. You can check on what you need to,”[/color] said Zhou as he rounded up his men.

Louise closed her eyes, cupped the air around her chest - as she clasped her delicate fingers together - forming a gesture as if praying. The silvery glow emanated from her yet again, but it wasn’t solely from her emerald pupils. This time, it was from her entire figure; rapidly cloaking her form with spiritual powers as she sonorously sung a song loudly. It contained a serene and mystical feel. As Louise would seldom raise her gently singing voice throughout the song; it’d seem as though something dramatic abruptly happens in the tale she rhymed out in a language only the divine Gods and Goddesses could comprehend. Deriving sacred powers from vocalizing such a sacred script; Louise gained power evermore. At the same time, her veil expanded rapidly as her allies across the land would now gain more strength - as if signalling that it’s time for them to strike.
Alma looked at Louise with a sick smile. Her true target was so close she could almost taste it. Gripping her sword tight, she brought her sword down on Louise’s shoulder. Cutting deep into her flesh, blood sprayed out as Louise jerked back; trying to keep her balance.
“Ugh…” stumbling back, Louise made a smirk over her face; looking up to Alma’s face. “Heh, is that all you got?”
Nero got up, and grabbed Alma’s leg. Throwing her back, and away from Louise and Arkasia. Alma was able to flip graceful after being thrown off, and land on her feet. Charlotte stomped Nero’s face into the ground beneath her heel as she looked at Louise and Arkasia.
“High priestess!” exclaimed Nero as he tried to get up and protect Louise. As his head was pressed into the ground he cursed himself. He wasn’t a shield for anyone right now, and he felt completely useless.
Arkasia stood in front of Louise and talked back to her. “How serious is the wound, do we need to retreat?” asked Arkasia. As she gave Louise a quick glance the wound didn’t seem to be giving her all that much trouble.
“It’s probably… fine,” feeling the effects of her rejuvenative magic; Louise didn’t see it as a potential threat. She forgot that people didn’t know of her regenerative powers that made her forget about flesh wounds almost completely.
“It this really it? Alma and Emma were having this much trouble with you two?” said Charlotte. Arkasia charged forward and attacked rapidly with both sword only to find Charlotte hiding behind her sword deflecting the attacks. Emma smiled as she continued to dance building up her allies.
Louise wouldn’t step down from the challenge of veils. Despite her wound, and the blond’s obvious jeer - which she ignored casually without a care - she gathered her hands over her chest. Closing her eyes, she begun to sing yet again. As her body glowed - making her appear far more attractive than usual - she started to gain magical powers from the heavens; the song would also heal the members of Scion slightly as she’d strengthen them.
Alma began swinging rapidly she gathered more souls. Looking to Emma and Charlotte the three communicated through signal. Nero stared down the three as he stood up and formed a wall between them, and his companions.
“They are preparing something,” said Nero to Arkasia and Louise as he fortified his body.
“You think you can stand up to my onslaught, eh?” taunted Charlotte. She stepped forward before breaking into a dash. Gripping her sword tightly she began to attack Nero. Nero focused armor to his hands to deflect her attack. Blocking the first, and second attacks before getting caught on the side with the third. As he was hit he felt the sword cut into his armor, and just as he thought she was done she spun again hacking cleanly through. The only thing that kept him alive was his hardened body that slowed the blade before it cut too deep. It was still a sizable wound.
“Nero, retreat!” Ordered Arkasia, as she ran forward to lend him a hand. Spinning in, she slashed rapidly at Charlotte. Catching her off guard - she was able to get in, and with proper angle slashed her across the chest, before kicking her hard in the front. Charlotte rolled across the ground before getting up grabbing her blade in anger. Emma’s memory went to a dark place as her dance changed into a sad jig.
“We don’t have time for this Emma, get it in gear!” yelled Charlotte. Emma focused on getting her emotions in check. With a crazy expression she picked up her mood and continued to dance like before.
“That’s more like it!” exclaimed Alma.
Louise continued to sing, her voice was surprisingly maintaining the gentle and melodic tone as her body still shone with magical light. Tch, what an arrogant tainted spirit, I’ll teach you… for the first time, Louise frowned; feeling a stinging pain from the deep wound she received. Her fancy aristocratic dress was discolored; draped with crimson scarlet as the stigmata expanded across the expensive fabric steadily. To ruin a lady’s dress is as if tarnishing her name and title. They will not get away with this.
Alma looked at Louise as she licked her lips. Sending a signal to Charlotte, she prepared to charge in for the main problem in their way, Louise. Dashing in, she slipped by Nero, and slammed her sword on the ground. A shockwave went out, and cancelled out the veils around them.
Nero’s eyes widened as he found his armor fail him. Thick blood ran down his side where he was cut. With his armor active he was able to keep the wound shut, but now it flowed freely. Falling to a knee his vision began to blur. Charlotte looked upon Nero’s sad appearance with a smile. “Go ahead, and keel over already, old man,” she said with a gleeful face. Even Louise was surprised to see her regeneration cease - albeit only momentarily.
Negation of spells and magic? ...How meddlesome, she commented internally.

On the opposite bridge Nero was thinking about how to approach the two women. He didn’t know much about their abilities. Also being in this narrow space made him feel nervous. Suddenly a short blonde walked up beside him.
“High priestess?” Nero asked as he looked down to Louise.
“We’re going after those two, I assume that’s alright with you?” Louise asked, looking up to the taller iron clad figure of a man. It’s better than being with princess for now, I suppose.
Nero cracked his knuckles. “Of course it is.” he answered. “I will lead.” Focusing his body as it turned harder than steel he took off for the representatives.
“We could just teleport… ” Louise’s voice trailed off as she witnessed the knight run. “I suppose I’ll just beat him to it,” Louise said, entering yet another dimensional gate conjured in the air via her magic.
Nero jumped when close, and tried to come in like a boulder to crush the two. Alma and Emma jump to the side with ease avoiding the attack. “Dammit,” Nero cursed as he tried to regain his stance. Alma brought her sword down, but as she did, she felt the result from Louise’s attack, and her shoulder locked up making her narrowly miss the man.
“Oh, we meet again,” Louise said with a smirk as she appeared from beside Nero through a magical white hole. “Lovely,” she commented, looking at the lady who seemed to be before her. “I’m counting on you to protect me again - I’d ask you to distract her, but that may be asking for far too much?” Louise said with a questioning gaze as she smiled sheepishly. He is far too brash and reckless for her tastes, but such a defender would probably do just fine. She looked back and forth between the representatives and Nero.
”A shield I can be,” he said almost embarrassed. Standing up straight he moved in front of Louise.
Emma began to dance as the spirits of the soldiers behind her began to sing as a crazy expression creeped across her face. Alma began to sway left and right as she swung her blade rapidly, but she was no where near Nero or Louise.
“What the hell are they doing?” asked Nero very confused. As he was trying to figure it out he heard a loud roar come from the forest nearby. As he listened closer, he could hear loud footsteps.

Arkasia turned to Louise. “Good work, it looks like they are turning tail. This is played out just how we wanted,” said Arkasia. “Now to put the nail in the coffin. We push them to the bridge, and back them into a corner to be slaughtered.”
“We should try to eliminate them, they are the representatives - at least judging from how powerful they appear to be,” Louise suggested, still ready to cast a spell any time.
“If they are, I am kind of disappointed. Of course we planned for them, but this is just pathetic. I guess fighting in our land is harder for them then we thought,” she said smirking. “Can you take me back to my men? I need to issue the attack formation.”
“You’re underestimating them. That girl’s veil held up against the combined efforts of our Queen and my squad’s veil. Maybe we got lucky this time,” Louise stated, not willing to think for a moment that they’re weaker than they seem to be. More like, not wanting to, underestimation is what leads to an incorrect decision. Despite being fairly confident person.
“Perhaps, but we need to push the advantage. We can’t allow them to gather their forces.”
“I shall take us back then,” Louise nodded, abiding by the request. She raised her wand to the air in front of her. A white portal opened before the two. “Off you go,” Louise gave her a push once again, then watched it close. She then made yet another portal, and elegantly strolled into it.
Appearing next to Owain and Nero who were overseeing the battle she smiled. “Push them to the bridges its time wipe the filth from our city,” ordered Arkasia. Nero saluted, and looked to Owain with a grin.
“You act as if we weren’t already doing that” Owain smiled back, saluting.
“Heh, I guess you are right. I’m surprised that Soul hasn’t shown yet.” said Arkasia. “If this is the way the battle is going to go we might be a little bored.”
“I’m sure there are stronger people defending the bridges, I’m pumped” Owain said readying himself
“You have your orders. Move out!” yelled Arkasia. She turned to the rest of her men on the rear guard team. “Let’s get those barricades up. We can’t be taken by surprise!”

“To think someone had the gall to place a familiar around my castle.” It was thirty minutes past seven - almost evening - when Isisviel cursed under her breath, her porcelain face was in a mess due to her frown that widely displayed her irritation for what happened some time ago. So far, Isisviel and Archer went together in a few places of the Miyama district - namely the Fuyuki Temple and the School, currently at the shopping district - of the Fuyuki city as a part of her sight-seeing trip. Every time Isisviel would see a new view that was completely unseen to her before, she’d make an angelic smile, but soon after she’d be back to making a pouty face.
“Master, that face is unbecoming” noted Archer upon seeing Isisviel’s pout. Archer had followed along, commenting when prompted. She too was fascinated by the current age, however not as much as Isisviel, but seeing her Master smile seemed to be infectious as Archer would find herself grinning whenever Isisviel did. The Einzbern was pure, like untrodden snow. Archer felt that she would protect her for as long as she could. As they approached the Archer stopped in her tracks. “Master, there are powerful Servants nearby, can you feel that magical energy?” she asked abruptly.
“I’ve been trying to avoid that, we barely bought anything here!” Isisviel sighed, she had been feeling lumps of mana from afar - they lied to the south-east direction. “Servants being that close to each other can only mean one thing,” Isisviel replied with a smug face. “However, this is a good chance, if anything,” she calmly stated. “Up for some flashier sightseeing, Archer?” a smirk crept up over her face as she said, an excitement of a different kind welled up in her. One of the most entertaining aspect of this trip was to watch a battle unfold, or fight. Both had their own good elements from Isisviel’s perspective. “Then, let us depart.”
Archer disappeared, taking her place, instead, was a jet black raven. The raven flapped its wings and headed towards the Tohsaka mansion, determined to learn much about the servants that battled close-by.

“Yes, that was basically the summary of the incident,” Ai said, facing the back of a tall man with fair blond hair. Judging from his height, he’d be around 20 years old..
The man sighed. “If she keeps this up… ” he trailed off, making a sad expression as she looked out the window in front of him.
“No, I’ll definitely stop her!” Ai spoke with determination.
“Unfortunately, we may have to take drastic measures regardless,” he turned his head to look Ai; directly making an eye-contact.
“Principal!”
“Calm down, we’re all in this together. There’s no way I’d use force to keep her in check, unlike him,” he referred to the mastermind as he spoke. “May I leave this task to you?” he shifted his eyes to the other corner, where another blond lady awaited the principal’s attention.
“Of course, if that is for the better of all things, I shall try my best, principal,” the young lady said with an assuring tone; as if consoling a child - saying that everything will be just fine. Her blond hair was straight without any rolls at the end of the strands - unlike Ai - and had beautiful violet hair. Her bright white skin, coupled with her attractive porcelain face and her Alice made her immensely popular amongst members of both gender throughout the entirety of Alice Academy.
“Ayane-san, I sincerely hope that you can take care of her.”
“Oh dear - Ai-san, you don’t have to be so rigid about this~! I’ll try my best and will use my Alice to restrain her - if I need to - so you may count on me.”
“Just don’t attempt to reason with her when she is ready to use her second, or third Alice. They’re far too dangerous.”
“Ichigo-chan wouldn’t hurt a student of this academy, Principal!”
“It’s okay, Ai-san. However, we mustn’t forget that there is someone Hoshimiya-san is forced to obey, remember?”
Ai sighed. “I know… ” she came back to the academy some time ago. After dropping off Ichigo and the others in the hospital, she made way for the High School Division. Normally, she’d go to the dorms to get some rest for the day to come. However, she was invited - despite the time being past midnight - to the school premises to meet the principal dead at night. Now this, she could literally feel her head hurt. She trusted Ayane, but she couldn’t feel at ease if she hadn’t a clue regarding what’s going on. The insecurity that came with caring for Ichigo was vexing, but she just couldn’t help herself.
