No. Look better then the tv rips. x264 vs Everything else. Mp4 is just limited to h.264 and acc audio. Most mkv are the same video has mp4 except mkv can use higher quality audio. Mkv just has 10-bit and I think you can have the raw stream also. I just like them for my bdplayer and 60 in tv. I can't tell the diff.

What I can say, is that this series does seem to be taking a more in-depth view on Idols, I am at the autograph signing episodes, something Love Live! never even bothered addressing. Neither did AKB0048.

On that aspect yes, but visually they're just so different. Yes, they're both idol shows, but (so far) one of these shows only has shown me 4 girls, 2-3 being main girls, while the other has 9 girls. I am sure by the end of Aikatsu they'll be enough girls for me to make a fair comparison, but right now, I personally can't compare the two yet. Even if I did, I still enjoy Love Live! more. You understand were I am coming from?
