Could be spending our money finding ways to make fuel sources that we don't need to dig for.
I'm guessing the government's under the impression that our scientists are too dumb to handle the task.

Its not necessary, but its fucking delicious.I think it makes more sense in a chicken sandwich or a blt though.
I actually didn't think about those. I always order my chicken sammiches from BK with bacon, now that I remember.
Thanks. And in hindsight, I can definitely see what you mean about that bit. I didn't really know where I was taking it, so I didn't know what to focus on.
For everyone else, there's a new piece up. Like I mentioned in the OP, it's tied in to the last one. Thoughts/comments/criticisms always appreciated.

With such a bleak view of our government, the only remedy I see is overthrow of the current regime. Setting up another one, even using the same structure, would be a total drain on the country, so we're still royally screwing ourselves over.
I guess the problem, since the beginning, is that we were content with letting these people play their games as long as it didn't affect us too much. By the time we realized what they were doing, it was too late to peacefully get things back on track. And now we find ourselves exactly where we are, having to choose between turning our backs on the government again or grabbing it by the neck and demanding our rights back.
I just wanna go back to playing GTA, if that's the case. At least I can still live the American dream there.

EDIT: Maybe the OP needs a few more sentences. The videos are relevant, though.
That's for sure. With the Executive branch, we can never truly know everything that's going on. Even the President, with all the power he has, is probably kept in the dark about certain things going on inside the government. I doubt anyone knows the full extent of what we're doing.
So it's natural to get that feeling. There's definitely things our government thinks they cannot allow us to see/know. This might be another one of them.

Let's see... Spanish is my original language. It's what my parents raised me with. I started learning English in 1st grade when I was 6 years old, and I'm pretty much as good at it as anyone else. I started taking French last year, but I stopped after the Elementary level.
Summary: I know two languages to a near perfect extent, and just the basics of another one. So two and a half...?

In response to Lishy, it's simple: whenever anything that might threaten it's position as the the lone hegemonic power arises, you can bet your sweet ass that the US will do something about it. Our government isn't afraid of being hypocritical, so long as they stay on top of their pedestal overlooking the rest of the world.
That's why international law don't mean jack to the US. We may espouse the growing importance of international customs and treaties, but we'll crush it all under our feet if it goes against the personal interests of those in power. Kinda makes me wish people would take elections more seriously.

You're being a mother and a stripper don't really make a difference to me.
You might be a little more vocal about what you think, but I don't think it's a bad thing. At the very least, it doesn't piss me off.
