Excited for it, because it at least has his name on it. Unlike Revengeance.

However, there's absolutely no way in all hell on Earth, that this game can top off MGS4(Or probably even 3.)

MGS4 made its premiere on the PS3, starting from PSX(Excluding the MSX). Making references throughout the game to previous MGS games to make the player feel completely nostalgic every step along the way.
Once I hit Shadow Moses, I started tearing up. I played MGS as a kid, and they even made references and flashbacks as well. How could I not love how they built this entire game?

I did laugh at the part where he said "cross-platform", I guess after all the complaining the Xbox fellers want in on some action, not that it'll do them much good since they probably didn't play MGS4.

Just finished Clannad with 100% completion rate. I've gotta say for an oldie, this is clearly a goodie. A must read for anyone with time to kill.

To be honest though, the true ending of this felt a bit shallow to me. Even the main ending was really nice, everything before--

Adorable little Ushio is bed-ridden, and diagnosed with the exact same issues as her late mother, and which leads to her fortunate death.
Edit**: Wording was off, made it sound like I enjoyed Ushio's death. Which I did not one bit...


The reason I didn't like the epilogue of after story was because, there was no follow up on the female roles. Maybe I'm just over-analyzing, because all the female roles even without becoming Tomoya's love interest overcome their problems(Well, all of them except for Kyou..)

MASSIVE MASSIVE SPOILERS, DO NOT READ IF YOU DIDN'T GET 100%.
Spoiler:
Ryou meets Kappei regardless and will probably convinces him all on her own.

Kotomi receives the package from her guardian confirming her parents conveyed feelings.

Yukine meets with her entourage as usual and life goes on.

Fuuko wakes up eventually.

Tomoyo becomes president and does her job.

Kyou, unfortunately still has feelings for Tomoya this is apparent still in the main story-line where Ushio dies.


Maybe I'm just expecting too much of an epilogue. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice happy ending, but it just leaves me saying, what happens from here? Still a fantastic VN. Wish I had more to read.

Also I fucked up on my second playthrough. Wanted aelinore (and engage in a yuri relationship along the way) and ended up with Madeleine AGAIN. I forgot to give the duchess presents :|.
Beat the offline ur-dragon once and removed half of a milimeter of the generation 81 ur-dragon's health in one fight.

My girl-pawn is damn beautiful! (revamped her completely), made me regret I started off as a woman in my second playthrough. Got lucky enough and looted Wounded Heart in a chest as well as the Royal Surcoat so I gave it all to my pawn (because we all know our pawn's look>our main.) so in the end I've got a blonde, tanned-skin with stunning white eyes and all suited in red. Gotta take a picture and post it here :Q.

I'm really liking the pawn system more and wish they'd go all out with new DLC outfits etc.

@MegaTenLove, I'm lvl 61 now but I've been using your mage since forever, gotta tell me how many rift points you've earned once I'm done with him lmao.

EDIT: WTH, I've just discovered the existence of the rift shop... derp me. I've always wondered how some pawns had pink hair but never looked into it since it looked ugly.

I'm glad Capcom decided to make a franchise out of this game, I was very sceptical when playing at the beggining but it's just damn fun once you hit post game/NG+. If only they'd improve the battle system and made pawns even MOAR CUSTOMIZABLE, I'd totally buy their sequel.



My pawn I believe is level 75. But unfortunately, the best way I can describe this game is incomplete in terms of game content. Story-wise and gameplay is fairly solid and definitely enjoyable to very much extent. The fighting system was decent, however this game was made by the creators of DMC3 so they definitely could've made improvements.

But seriously, how can you make a sequel after that much exposure of the plot?

I do agree with you on many grounds. Especially our pawns.

Played for the first time in a month or so.
1200 Tickets, Seine crossing. KDR of about 2.83. Total kills, 103.

Unfortunately suppression is somewhat the same. To me, this game is, 'whoever shoots first, wins the shoot off', since it's a matter of suppressing your opponent, not so much hitting them. It's annoying as all hell to camp dead bodies so the wandering assaults don't pick them back up.
I suppose it's not all bad, since I did score positive.

Not over 1000? I don't play Veigar much, but I have two friends that do, and when I play with them, they consistently get over 1000 AP. What is your build?

Although it is unfortunate that you had 2 people feeding continuously.


I'm level 26 with no runes for AP yet. I'm using AD carry runes. Arm Pen, Flat Armor, MR@18, AD Quints.

I had about +138 from my 'Q' skill.

My item build was--
Archangel Staff(+1000 Mana) + Deathcap + Zhonya's + Void Staff + Spellcaster Grieves + Deathfire Grasp.

I've never gone over 1000 yet though lol. This is one of the closest I've gotten though. 976, being the closest.

Managed to hit 915 AP as Veigar. Full build. Sadly, I couldn't blow up an AP Sion with no MR equipment. It was literally 3v5. Because our top lane and Varus continously fed throughout the game.

I grew up on 1.6. There's no doubt that was it in its prime.

No matter how much I play Source I can't seem to get a feel on the 'aiming' system. I miss 1.6 style.
Visually CS:GO looks nice, but it's still using Source engine, on top of that; it's using L4D2s graphics detail.

On the bright side. It's been confirmed for only $15.

So I beat the game today. Mind blown. I had no idea the game had that kinda depth to our hero. At first the storyline was like, "Eh, I've seen better. Not bad though".
Then when you hit the climax you're like "THEFUCKISGOINGONIDON'TEVEN."

During the climatic battle--(MASSIVE SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT BEAT THE GAME AND GOTTEN THE TRUE ENDING).

I thought it pretty sick that Savan was the Senechal. When he had zero HP I was a little sad when my pawn grabbed him and said

"Now master, do it, my life belongs to you now and forever!"

I was afraid to be honest, as I was charging that deathfire shot(I swapped myself to ranger, and her to fighter) and released the string and saw that arrow go in slow motion, I literally thought the blow would kill her too as she said that.

I love my pawn so much. The free-falling was pretty romantic to me.

Our hero stabs himself to end everything, the cycle, the dragon, the Maker. The pawn, Kagami with her short red hair calling out to him while falling from the sky at an outrageous rate hand outstretched, tears in her eyes. The world slowed down around them, the roaring wind couldn't reach her ears anymore. Arisen smiles back through his mortal wound. His voice reaching through her mind.

Arisen:"Hey, Kagami, do me a favor will you?"
Kagami:" Anything, to your dying breath master."

They return to reality, falling at a breakneck pace. In a dead silence one word resonated as they hit the water together.

Arisen: Live.

Alright maybe it was a LITTLE exaggerated but due to my over-active imagination, that's how I saw it.
*Sigh* excuse me I need to go shed some manly tears.


But seriously, the storyline starts as mediocre and it blows it out of proportion by throwing a plethora of information at you. In a good way of course.

MORE SPOILERS DON'T READ, STORYLINE BASED. This is more of an inquiry to those who have beat it and obtained the true ending.

At least I sacrificed my life to let my pawn live on. For me, like I said earlier, I'd prefer my pawn over all other love interests. So I guess it turned out in my favor. Now nothing left to do but play this like a VN and get the other girls/endings.

How sad though. Savan sat at that throne for a thousand years or more. I knew something was fishy at the beginning of the game. Why did it matter to play as Arisen who wasn't our hero.

One thing doesn't make sense though. By using Godsbane to end your life as Senechal, that ends the cycle of Arisen and the dragon's return doesn't it? The dragon(s) was/were originally (previous) Arisen who failed to defeat the previous Senechal, those pawns wandering the Everfall were those whose masters failed to kill the Senechal. Unfortunately even with all this, the world is doomed to loop eternally. Many failed Arisen will become dragons, and the one that is victorious will seat at the throne eternally until the next will take his place.

That all being said, where did Godsbane come into existence? The blade from Savan isn't the one used to end our Arisen's life. It's the blade that came from the dragon. That's the only thing that doesn't make sense to me.


Err, also. Isn't the girl you ultimately end up with in the TRUE end of the game
Selene? Or did I mess up somewhere? Because of your similar fates and all that.


Also the dragon has a very sexy voice.

I just jumped on my friend's account on my PS3 and looked at my pawn. She's at level 82, but is actually 89 as of right now. I guess it takes some time for it to load the current data.

Maybe they refresh it once or twice a day.

Oh, and I gifted him equipments and it works. Just need time for that server refresh.


Ahh, thanks. That's good to hear. I'd hate to see 450k gold go down the toilet for a miscommunication of text.

Edit:** Today I fought the dragon.
Now, I thought I'd get an assload of EXP for my vocation, so I decided to fight the dragon with a level 1 fighter vocation and my pawn with a level 7 ranger vocation. Upon entering the large arena for the final showdown did I learn.

I HAD MADE A HORRIBLE MISTAKE.
Now I had hired two pawns, approximately 10 levels higher than me. A warrior and a mage for support. Now when the dragon 'possessed' my main pawn Kagami, I thought to myself

'Oh no big deal, these two pawns should have no trouble taking her down.'

Watching those two pawns fly past me at a velocity similar to mach 3, I remembered. She's using my fucking equipment. To add insult to injury, her augments literally cause her damage to sky rocket. She was using Meteor shot, Tenfold Flurry, and Deathfire shot. Not only did she guard-break me constantly, I couldn't gear near her. After 2 Wakestones later, I beat the dragon and I must say.

I have no clue what's going on currently. But since the game is ongoing so shall I!

There was one part I did laugh hysterically. Saved Quina, and she made out with my toon, helmet covering the face and all. Now I'm sure after the sex at the great-wall encampment, and the sex back at his place it was a LITTLE awkward to have Selene standing by the bedside upon regaining control of the character.
