When I saw the trailer, I wasn't expecting much. I was just excited to see it animated, even though it was meh quality. Now it hurts having to watch it, even though I'm still drooling over appearances as the show goes on.
Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova 8/10
As people said, CGI was wonky. But as I watched more, it grew on me, even though it could be better. Glad it retains most of what the manga has, but still irked that a few scenes were changed. The scifi and ships is what this is all about.
And yes the mental models too. Overall, great for me since it was an animation I was hoping for, and did not fail unlike the anime I graded before.
Ifinite Stratos season 2 7/10
Above average. And the 1st episode after still left me reeling: Where is the damned plot?
Only reason this series gets a 7 is cuz of Laura and Char. Yes, that is absolutely the only reason. Ichika still needs to die.
