Depends on the country. USDA beef and other meats go through a huge inspection. Our meat is pretty safe though, we had one instance of mad cow maybe, possibly enter our meat supply and that caused japan and south Korea to ban our beef.

The stats on wikipedia state that the U.K. has had nearly 200,000 cases of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (a.k.a "mad cow") while the U.S. has had 3. Hell, Liechtenstein has had almost as many cases as us LIECHTENSTEIN! In proportion to the different sizes of the respective countries and the amount of beef made by eat one. We are doing a damn fine job.

You are correct that I am not "required" to eat meat but, it is a better source of protein and certain acids that our body requires but, an ample amount of certain vegetables can fill that void. Then that leads to that "sickly" look that some vegetarians get. Most people get that look because they can't obtain the proper amount of nutrients though that system since our bodies are designed to eat meat in conjunction with vegetables.

To rebuttal your argument. Just because of my superiority doesn't mean I have to resort to eating only vegetables either. I am saying that we can eat whatever we choose because our bodies can do it. I am also saying that the usual argument to become vegetarian is a poor example of a good argument. "You'll hurt their feelings" is not a way to win over intelligent people in an argument. If vegetarians want people to made a choice to be vegetarian then they need to educate people on the benefits of vegetarianism which are lower BMI and a reduced risk of other health effects.

That and kill all those whiny little fucks who try to force their personal choice on the rest of us. As an act of good faith we will also kill off all those idiots who use the argument "What, you don't eat me? You one of them homos? I believe that is a good deal. :D

In reality, there is no reason to be vegetarian other than personal choice. You can be healthy eating meat and you can be healthy being vegetarian. Its a personal choice and there is not a right or wrong answer when it comes to a personal choice.

Noutakun my friend, the world needs more people like you. Its a shame that there are so few people like you who do these kinds of things not because of ideology but, just because its the right thing to do.

I had to reread this a couple times because it made absolutely zero sense. I didn't say all animals were carnivors. Also size has nothing to do with carnivore or herbivore. There have been large herbivores and small carnivores. So size has nothing to do with this argument. I said the human species and their ancestors (early humans) ate meat. Monkeys ate fruit, and plant matter to survive. When the climate changed and the large forests gave way to large expanses of open land. We could no longer survive on plant matter alone. In the next step we ate bone marrow (which gave us the protein to develop larger brains) roots, and various other things. The next step was early humans which ate meat as well as various plants but, mostly meat. Since Neanderthal and Homo erectus our diet has required a lot of protein. To fulfill that requirement we ate meat. We are an omnivore and our bodies are designed to eat both vegetables and meats. Ever notices that those who eat proper amounts of both are healthier than those who eat only meat or only vegetables?



This made little sense to me. Lets see if I understand you correctly. You are stating

I was stating that we CAN CHOOSE what we eat because of our status as the dominant animal on this planet. Our teeth give us the ability. We have incisors AND molars which give me the ability to choose and because of that we can EAT WHAT WE WANT. If our teeth were only molars then we wouldn't be able to eat what we want because the teeth aren't designed to tear flesh so we would only eat plants. Molars are meant to grind hard material (nuts, roots) and plant matter. If our mouths contained only incisors like that of a wolf, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, foxes,etc. Then were would only be able to eat meat since those teeth are designed for tearing flesh instead of chewing plants.

So, where does it say I can't eat what I want? I have the teeth for it. Other than "Your hurting the animals" there is no reason why I shouldn't eat meat other than personal choice like Hibia. I personally choose to not eat fish (not because I'm sorry for the poor fishies) but, because I dislike the smell. Since I can't tell the difference between good/bad fish,lobster, muscles, crabs.
