Better reviewer and it cost 15$ to make a classic. All consoles don't make profit. The games is the profitable. They're lucky if it breaks even, but the classic makes profit. 69-15=54$ no advertisement. Even at the wholesale price of 25$... That more than what they will make on the switch or any console.
Apparently, the real reason Ninty discontinued the classic is because they're making an SNES classic. Now that is something I want to get my hands on.

Damn, Switch is the second best selling console at launch. If they had more systems in stock, it probably would've surpassed Ps4.
