I learned the lead singer of Linkin Park committed suicide today. Damn shame...

Oh wow, I haven't watched the first season in ages. I might have to keep an eye on this one.

Beat tekken 7, now all that's left to do is to shoot for true tekken god in rank.

Good job, I'm really liking this. My eyes thank you as well.

I heard the Tupac movie sucked ass. I'll go see it regardless, but my hype for it went straight out the window.

Damn, I've been here that long? I remember sharing my h video stash in order to keep the links alive. Then I got into an argument with some asshat member because I was sharing the same titles he uploaded (I believe there was a rule about it, that I overlooked). The rest is history I guess.

Glad I missed that conference, it sounded like a snooze fest.

I don't take greetings from console gamers, nothing personal kid.

That's fine, but maybe there are other people here who you will accept a greetings from. Oh and nothing personal from our last confrontation. I had a bad week and needed to rant in order to relieve some tension.

I have a pretty beastly computer atm (but its been having overheating issues as of late.), but the main reason why I prefer consoles over pc is because I've already invested years of collecting trophies. The second reason is my family mostly play consoles. We have game sessions every now and then, and I don't want to give that up over insignificant perks like better gfx or mods.

Pc is superior to console, I won't deny that, but some of my family can't invest in taking care of a computer just to game on it. They have a life.

Hardly know ya, but the notification popped up on my skype, so I figured, why the hell not give a shout out?

I just found it ironic how everywhere I go, pc enthusiasts pick fun of or highly suggest console gamers go to pc, because pc gaming is somehow superior. Yet, here I find two pc elitists asking for console ports. I understand the part about wanting more games, but from consoles though? If pc is so much better, why do you want console games?

Why is there a difference between pc and console games? You can also play on PC with a controller if you want. I do that for Platinum games or for fighting games. Every console is pretty much just a pc inside a smaller box, the only difference is how you play it and even then you can customize your pc to do the same.

PC is objectively superior. You can play games smoother and make it look better on PC. People buy consoles to get a 'it just werks' box and to be able to play on the tv. Which is totally fin. The trade off is the price for a up to date PC and the need for maintenance, for some they rather not deal with that. Again, that's fine.

Exclusives are just as important as 3rd party games. It ensures that the system you're playing on is actually bringing something unique to the table. Otherwise, everyone would solely be comparing games by graphics...oh, wait.

Yes but you're punishing the people that doesn't own the other console. If I want both Persona 5 and the new Halo then I have to purchase both the consoles, which is a lot of money. Consoles are usually the ones that pushes for games to look better but run worse. For PC, 60 fps has become the universal standard and for every game that doesn't have that, there's usually a guide how to mod the game to meet those standards.

Anyways, I don't mind the idea of porting older console games to pc, since that's already being done via emulation anyways. However, when it comes to new games, that shit needs time to breath on the consoles for a few years. Some of the best games I've played on pc, were console ports anyways.

Why does it need to breath on consoles? There's a clear difference in expectations for PC and console buyers. It's like people buying iOS over Android. You should know what why you're buying that specific os. I don't understand why console users should feel bad about games getting on PC. You can still play the games you want on console.

>Pc is expensive
>Buying two/three consoles is expensive

Pick your poison sir.

Like you said, some people can't really afford to buy more than one console. While others only buy a console that suits their gaming needs. Likewise, I can see why the casual gamer stays away from pc gaming. I guess from your point of view, it wouldn't matter since a console player wouldn't likely switch to pc just because the system's exclusives is on there. I can see the benefits of games being on pc. It has better graphics, mods, etc.

My initial argument wasn't that there's a big difference between pc and console. I was just pointing out the smug attitude of pc elitists
who shit on console gaming, but then want games exclusive to consoles. Since I believe in exclusives and you don't, we'll just have to leave it at that.

And what's wrong with asking for more games on the PC? That's like you saying there isn't anything wrong with having a lot of games on smartphones yet you take issue with the PCMR asking for PC ports.

Fresh, new games exclusive to the pc is one thing, but asking for ports from consoles makes you seem thirsty (if not greedy). What's wrong, is the grass actually greener on the other side?

Finally moved out of that suffocating apartment that I was living with my mom in. Uhaul was more expensive than I thought, but it was well worth it.

I've been on Deviant art for the past couple days to get some tips on my craft. So far I seem to be getting better, even if it is by a little bit. That's mostly thanks to the highly helpful members there. With that said, here's Rio Blade Prototype 3

My uncle is being wishy washy in regards to us either staying in my Grandma's old house or finding an apartment. I already gave him my share of the rent in advance, but everytime we get together to make plans, he goes around in circles. This whole ordeal has made me realize that he is very irresponsible. I may have second thoughts about moving in with him.

This is something I've been doing since last year. My father's friend had a stroke, doctors said he wouldn't make a full recovery. However, ever since the incident, he's been able to walk and talk normally. The only problem is that he can't do certain things like memorize contacts in his cell phone or count money. Whenever he comes by the store, I take the time out to help him improve his memory. Nothing too extravagant, just little things like going over simple accounting problems and refreshing his memory in regards to the contacts in his phone.

I'm happy to say that he is greatly improving over the past couple months. There were times I felt frustrated because he didn't seem like he was picking up on some of the material, but it all seems to be paying off. Today, he gave me a heartfelt thanks after one of our sessions. He told me everyone around him (including my dad) gave up on helping him. This made me resolved to keep on doing it.
