Depends, personally I wouldn't care about the smoke since I used to smoke myself. What I do care about is bad breathe. When you smoke nicotine, your mouth gets really dry and your tongue is covered with smoke, I used to carry mouthwash around to avoid that. And it's even more pugnent for thick cigars. If she can do the same, then I wouldn't mind.

I'd stick to what you're currently doing, finish it, then continue into film-making if you are still interested. In a practical perspective it's more prudent than otherwise, but in an inspired perspective my suggestion could seem dull.

On an added note, I'm fairly sure PS Vita is region free so you can import and play games from Japan. If you can get past the whole language barrier thing, I'm sure it'd be fun.

This is one of those things where I'd have to decide case by case. But I'll list the things I would consider:

What is that friend's relative value?
What is the worst outcome that can occur from helping?
What is the best case?
What is the chance that a negative event will happen?
Etc.

Although, if the possible danger was sporadic, then I'd just follow my gut at the time.

Don't listen to this guy, but listen to me. Your card's core clock frequency are adequate, albeit low for high settings. If you want more than that, then yes you might need to upgrade. On an added note, I'm assuming you're not running on a crazy resolution for your card's capability.

I stress that you optimize what you have before upgrading, or at the very least know why you are upgrading. Frankly, I don't see any major issues with your card for DOTA 2. And no, I'm not a guy that just says, "add a stick of RAM," for any performance related issue. In your case, you actually are lacking the average amount of RAM necessary for fluid multitasking.

Don't listen to this guy, a 512mb card should be enough for high settings on DOTA 2. Just focus on your RAM.

Your video card is decent and your CPU is great. The amount of RAM you have is small. If you can, buy an extra 2-4GB of ram (make sure it's compatible with your motherboard). Another method you could try is stopping unnecessary processes running in the background.

I'm a tad lazy to specify the exact steps, so I'll generalize:
---> Open Task Manager
---> Go to: Processes
---> Organize list by most CPU intensive.
---> If the process is not by Microsoft, Google search process name and check if it's necessary.
---------> If not necessary, end task.
---------> Else continue.
---------> End when you go through all non-Microsoft processes

Hopefully someone less lazy will give you a more specific walk-through. Flaser, I choose you!

Edit: Just noticed you're running Win7 Ultimate. If I remember correctly there's a number of extra items that could take some space in the RAM, one of them being Bitlocker - although, I'm fairly sure encryption is not turned on by default.
