I'm pretty old-school. I started with Spellfire and BloodWars, and then a few years later, my friends and I moved over to Magic. I haven't played any of them in years though. The last time I played Magic was easily over a decade ago! However, I did pick up a box of Tanto Cuore cards, but there is like no where to buy them where I live, nor is there anyone to play it with...sorta' stranded myself on that one. ;)

Damn you, Akadot! Totally misleading. They say on their page that the cover comes with it. I figured it was one of the deluxe versions of the mag. Oh well, at least it was only like with shipping $30. :)

Well that was fucking lame.

I thought "eh' what the hell, I'll pick up this month's Dengeki Hime because I love Oyari Ashito and it comes with a cover too. Sweet!"

Well, that's what the Akadot page (http://www.akadot.com/dengeki-hime-05-may-2012-p-39633.html#) says:
"Comes with "Hatsuyuki sakura" large mousepad and pillow cover and "Eiyu Senki" Sekai Seifuku tramp card!!!!"

So I find it cheaper on Hobby List Japan (http://www.hlj.com/product/MDWHM1205) and email them, asking if it comes will all bonus items, and they respond informing me that it does. I go ahead and order it through HLJ. It arrives today. And guess what...no cover. Only the playing cards and mouse pad. Goddammit.



Yeah, that's ridiculous. That's over half of what it went for new. You're better off finding it on Mandrake.

When there's a suspiciously cheap cover on YJA with a buy-out chances are that it's a knock-off. However, you'll find that some cheaper covers will be bundled with H-PC games and visual novels. :)

Dude, I think I'll probably move on from dakimakura collecting before I hit the EC level cap.

Damn son, posting your covers on Facebook? That is pretty ballsy, but at the same time it's quite admirable that you don't have anything to hide. :)
I'm not really a big fan of FB...too much information sharing.

Anyhow, I really like those Valkyria covers too, but have yet to buy any of them.

A quick Google search returned the following possibilities:

†¢ It could be a certain frequency coming into proximity of your car alarm. Some older wireless devices and cell phones are known to do this.
†¢ If your car is parked on an incline and you have a trembler-switch, this will increase the odds of your alarm being triggered.
†¢ If you are asleep and are being woken up by your car alarm it could be set off via the noise from deep bass or exhaust from other vehicles.
†¢ Alarm on the fritz and just needs to be fixed or your car battery may need replacing.
†¢ An overweight cat like someone else had mentioned.

Do some research and like a few others have said, keep an eye on your car at night and see if you can see any patterns that are happening around that time when your alarm goes off. Good luck. :)

I think the "God, I feel old" moments really hit me when I see old TV shows, movies and cartoons from my childhood: Ducktails, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Who's the Boss, Three's Company, The Karate Kid, Monster Squad, Predator, TMNT (the first live-action one), The Goonies, etc..

The angry, *shake my fist in the air* "God, I feel old" moments hit me when I see bratty teen and pre-teen punks doing or wearing something that references my childhood era when they are obviously born in like the late 90s. I'm like "shi-, son...you don't even know."

Just played Bloodforge yesterday. Yeah I could see dropping Crom's hammer on my dome an effective way of quickly ending things. And to be courteous, I'd make sure to leave a plastic tarp out on the floor for whomever has to clean up the mess. ;)

Yeah Blink, I'd listen to Shashin: chances are that cover is NOT going to be censored. And I might add that this particular cover is looking mighty tempting. I would like to get it, but my funds are spread pretty thin so I may just get that cute chick in the swimsuit from B&W store. Just still so torn on whether to get her in the Black or White swimsuit. Decisions, decisions... >:)
