Au contraire my friend. I'm keeping up with news about the eroge industry, and the more I read, the more I worry about the future of hentai since eroge is just one subset, and I feel it will move into hentai itself.



This statement you made completely disqualifies your previous opinion about not worrying about the future of hentai. Halting sales of hentai is a serious problem in it of itself, and with nothing new circulating the market and the net, we're stuck with old stuff and fanmade stuff. Dunno about you, but that's plenty to worry about there.

For Death Note, I think most attentive and perceptive readers/watchers would have foresaw his death coming. I know I did, and I wasn't surprised one bit. As for Code Geass, that completely threw me off guard - I did not expect Lelouche to make himself public enemy number one and then get murdered on his throne.

I never liked Cowboy Bebop precisely because of it's episodic nature, which is why I give my hat to Code Geass in its entirety, not just R2 (which the ending was rushed.) I have never heard of any of Yamatogawa's works being animated... and I don't think we'll see that in the near future. Look what happened to Gunma Kisaragi's Love Selection and Ryuta Amazume's Kimi no na wo Yobeba - the animation company simply butchered them with their shitty animation style that didn't really conform to the mangaka's art style.

@all: I've noticed many threads about avatar problems - I don't quite understand why it's so hard to follow the rules that are explicitly stated to the left of the uploading dialog boxes. Is it just me?

@Ramsus: I think the majority of the people here are encouraging the idea of title creation due to the fact that many users here are either in the Elite or Elder status, which in a sense devalues any meaning attributed to the two titles. Raze mentioned before that it supposed to take a long time to reach Elder status, hence the "elder", but I think one to three months of dedication will easily allow one to reach it.

I don't believe will this encourage post spamming because gaining another couple thousand of posts isn't something that can be done with outright spamming even if you tried. I'm nearing 3000 posts, but this took about 9 months of dedication to FAKKU! forums to reach there (not counting my three month hiatus). Not many people complain about me making spam posts because I make sure there's some quality to them.

I also believe that users are posting such high post requirements simply because we know that it will take time not spamming to reach there. Rep is broken, and we all know that, but post count isn't, and those who've been on the forums long enough knows whose posts are worth reading and those who aren't worth reading. Those who've been on the forums long enough should be recognized for their steadfast efforts (I'm not implying that they don't have lives).

Whatever, I'm just throwing this out there. And we all know what happened to the custom titles idea... which in retrospect wasn't great at all.

And waste money? I think not. And as I mentioned before, you're better off with crappy subs than crappy dubs.
