It's time to bring out the heavy artillery: a big fat "NO" should suffice.
Seriously, you have to draw line somewhere, and if now isn't the time, you'll never find the time. Kinda makes me wonder if the girl has some sort of ulterior motive... unlikely but possible. And you seem to have more than a fair share's worth of girl trouble.

@Rayne: that sounds so contradictory, yet at the same time it sounds true. I guess I can't pin more fault on girls since they do it subconciously, but still, I wonder if that can be excused/reasoned with.
I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, Waar, but taking caution to those who might read it would be much more prudent.
@Rayne: if what you're saying is true, then I guess it's a fault on both guys and girls sides, but I'm seeing more fault on the girl's side because the guy doesn't have any ill-intentions.

Have we discussed the preferences for androids or cyborgs? I mean, androids are one thing, but a cyborg is still legitimately human, which would be totally fine in my book. Androids though raise a question of ethics/sanity.
@zeKer_pencil: very true with your analysis of the nodachi/claymore. I figured out that the sword that the Spartans used was the Xiphos, with the same exact intent/design of that of a gladius, hence the interchangability.
@The Jesus: A bokken, jo, or even a shinai are good melee weapons if you only care about disarming and wounding the opponent. I guess most of us thought of this as a life-or-death situation where melee weapons with the ability to kill would be more of an advantage.

Humans are the biggest hypocrites out there. Always easy to talk the talk, but it's harder to walk the walk.
I'm curious to see how this thread of yours plays out, though I feel that there might be some bashing involved. (considering some past history) I'd tread carefully there, Waar.

Dont just say, "HUURRRR SHE'S HAWT HURRR!!!"But the mermaid is hawt...
That aside, there's something about that serpentine fin that gives me the image of grace. Plus, mermaids have a killer voice when it comes to singing - I'd like to vocalize to that.

where do you draw the line as a friend or something more though guys? i feel that if im not doing my best to listen and be a reliable medium for advice and support then im not doing my part as a friend. its not that i try to work a relationship from any of my friendships, to be honest i find risking a good friendship for an attempt at something more doesnt usually seem worth it. but then youd think a respectable reputation from your friends to theirs would amount to something... im going in circles here. all i know is that im considered a 'gentlemen' and that doesnt cut it for dating material. thanks for the feedback so far waar, g-money. Dude, I totally understand where you're coming from. The thing is, I've never really pursued an active relationship... so my experience at dating is severely limited. Maybe I'm too nice to go beyond friends? Dunno. I still hold out that the nice guys wins belief. If that wasn't so, I'd give up on humanity a long time ago.

this thread begs the question: what kind of traits are you looking for in a guy, and what need to be most prominent? is attitude a double edged sword, adding tension and depth to a guy? do you believe in the axiom nice guys finish last, that maybe their too nice for their own good? i find that being a nice guy has its ups and downs. im the guy most girls can come to for advice or a shoulder to cry on but its as if thats all im good for sometimes. its a boot in the ass when i support these girls and their decisions, give them some input to work with and then they end up cherishing the guys that treat them like shit! thus the attitude question before, i just dont get it.
and dont get me wrong, i dont expect a girl to just turn tail on their love interests because i gave them some good advice but its almost as if theres a blockade in their head that im incapable of being something more to them because of my personality. *sigh*... please? lol
I feel you, and while i had some success in the past with girls, i've been heading down the nice guy who finishes last path for a while now. The only real advice I can give you is to never treat a girl you like as a friend... If you do that it's like shooting yourself in the foot. If they start to head down the cry on your shoulder path you need to cut it off. I know many of you feel that the best relationships are formed with guys/girls you were friends with before, but I have to tell you, that love is a rare love that often results in heart break (for the guy most of the time) for one party. I'm thinking about writing a new thread about the women of fakku... but ill hold off until I run is past some people i trust.
This rings too true, and I mean it. I've had a couple of girls (and guys) confess to me some of their inner secrets, stress, and problems. I'm a nice guy, and like what (>'.')>¿;= said in bold, I asked my question couple of posts before "why girls fall for guys who act like jerks?". Waar's right, being nice "cry-on-shoulder" type literally equates to shooting yourself in the foot. I see girls always falling for the jock, the jerk, the prick, the show-off and while I can't blame them, it causes great resentment. I still don't understand it to this day.

Thanks guys, now I get the feeling that there's a mod out there who's gonna go like "sigh...that's twice today...*moves topic to IB*..." lolDon't sweat it, and it wasn't personal. I just like the forums to be neat and tidy for ease of reference.
Come to think of it, I was a member of FAKKU because of motemote too, lol, and that was back in June 2008, not far from your August 2008.
That's sweet, but I think a lot users found FAKKU! through the exact same process. Goes to show that Motemote is a very popular tool for attracting users to the forums. Also congrats on making to Elder status.

But then you can't hear Yoko saying, "Stop it!"
Bumping because of pure awesomeness. And the fact that Klorofolun has kindly ripped and uploaded the Yoko PV. More people must know, because it is YOKO from TTGL - nuff said.

@Jonoe: I salute your boxing routine and training.
I've never really formerly trained, but as a martial arts practioner (as one can get in his/her spare time) I think I get the form down. Since I'm more concerned about weight loss and building muscle, my workout at the boxing corner is very limited since I'm pretty tired by the end of my workout. The last 5-10 minutes reserved for boxing are spent getting my punching form down, though I also practice stances and shadow-boxing. I find it hard to practice uppercuts with a heavy bag... but I do know the form.
In terms of working out, why I work my muscles is because of my own personal condition. To offset that, I muscle train, but I go for more reps than sets to burn off the calories/fat than to bulk up.
What type of fighter do you consider yourself to be, Jonoe? There's four types I believe, outfighter, puncher, infighter, and slugger. I would liken myself to an infighter.

@waynoinsano: I've read it too, the Zombie survival guide, and I don't put faith in that voodoo magic theory. If we did, we're fucked no matter what we do. However, I'm not convinced that we should treat zombies as the slow moving kind, but be ready for zombies can run fast and even zombies that mutate into something else.
As for the molotov, my theory behind this is that the extreme heat would effectively pop the eardrums and destroy what senses the zombie has. True, the flaming zombies would be a danger and it might take about 2-5 minutes for them to die again, but effectively they'd be even deader that way. Again, molotovs are best used at chokepoints like doorways, hallways, streets, lighting a room, and the sort, and obviously you want some distance from any thrown grenade. Understand that it doesn't take long for a person in flames to die, so I assume it be even more effective on zombies with nothing but touch, sound, and smell to guide them.
edit: Also added some more FYI info to the weapons section of my monster post as well as additional stuff to carry.
I'm ready for the fucking zombie invasion. I was born ready, motherfucker.

I've spotted a problem with this game as well. There might be many types of monster waifus, but ultimately it is veeery limited. I can't even imagine more than 100 of these monster girls. This really might be a first come first serve basis.
