As for custom maps, here's a link: http://www.l4dmods.com/index.php?option=com_modmgr&view=packages&category_id=5&Itemid=87
As for the movie, I wonder if it'll be good. Romero's zombie films are decent, but while some rock, others flunked. I'm just wondering if the producers can reproduce an entire campaign from co-op/single player campaigns.
Got my Man vs. Tank achievement today, so I'm at 42/51.

Here's my two-dollars worth on this matter. Some if not most of what I will say have been already repeated, but repetition drives a point home, ne?
1. What do you think of the current status of the forums?
My answer is that something changed from the time I disappeared in January to March. The threads wasn't as interesting as it was then, especially with the influx of new users and with it threads and posts. But to think of the status of the forums, there isn't anything particularly wrong other than it's supported by an old user base which is increased through participation of new users. Registerd members keep increasing, and FAKKU traffic shows that it's in high demand, so my guess is that the forums are doing fine. I think ShaggyJebus explains the situation well for us older users.
2. Are you happy with the active user base and your interactions with them?
From the time I disappeared and reappeared, I believe the # of noobs has dropped, but that could be because motemote is over. Still, I have noticed that the old user base have become increasingly hostile to newer members. Gambler has noted the problem and I believe he is correct. To that end, I believe something else is required. Though it may be my own personal opinion, I wish for the times that I debated seriously on topics with others. Overall, I still think the active user base is growing and being active at the same time - it's just that the interaction could be better, as continued in the third question.
3. Is there anything wrong you see with the community?
Mainly the little scuffles here and there between old and new members as well as the older members fighting amongst themselves. Also I see a lot of useless threads and uninteresing threads, though I'm more worried about the useless threads. Traffic still remains to be a problem for others when accessing the forums.
4. If so, what do you think needs to be done to correct it?
Well, as I have pushed for this point before, I feel that the forums need more moderators considering the fact that many mods are unavailable/MIA. The Random section needs a moderator especially since it's full of crap. More mods means easier facilitation of forum dicussion flow. I personally would like to see the memberlist reinstated for reference on users, but that's my own opinion.
I've more or less posted the forums' cons, but only as constructive criticism. I still love FAKKU and I like hanging out in the forums.

Then there's people like WhiteLion who always has something substantial to say, but isn't repped nearly enough. Post count doesn't necessarily mean anything too. Quality over Quantity.
Rep doesn't always mean much either. But rep is a little more credible then title of Elite and Elder
This is very true. WhiteLion, the Jesus, StaticChange, Ryuji, me, and a few others make rep mainly through our intelligent posts than anything else. I moreso spend my time outside of the Serious section where I'd contribute a lot back then, but it doesn't seem as enticing now. If you take away some of reps from whatever outside of uploads/favors/links, I'd be in the 30s or 20s.
I do think it's true that time spent, quality of posts, # of posts, and # of rep usually signify someone of high respect (in some sort of combination). Only those who spent a lot of time on the forums will know who to respect.
I had to double post to share this. Got Ground Cover and Double Jump today, so I'm up at 41/51 achievements.
So something unfuckingbelievable happened today when playing L4D. I was on the Sewers on Death Toll (Normal) online when we meet a Tank right outside the damn caboose safe house... remember that there's a car in front of the window? Well, the damn Tank chucks the car and lands on me... and then TRAPS ME! So I'm bleeding out, and my teammates are trying to help from the under the car but can't since the car's on top of me, and we're all laughing at the failed attempts to rescue me.
And then another attempt at Death Toll on Normal online - I don't know who modded the map, but it was definitely modded out like crazy:
1. The Turnpike - the moment we spawn, a Tank spawns right next to the blue car. We're all wtf? So we put the Tank out of his misery with tier 1 weapons... least to say we were pretty harmed. Then I tried to reach the safe house and the zombies don't stop jumping off the hill to attack me, and I end up being incapacitated before helped up.
2. The sewers - we try to leave the safe room, but instead a shit load of zombies keep coming... and it doesn't stop until 3-5 minutes later with all four members shooting the shit out of zombies through the safe room door.
3. The church - nothing particular here, except abnormal amount of zombies during horde attacks and two witches, one before the house with the closet and one right outside the house.
4. The Town - this is where things got really fucked up. We trigger the panic event at the machine gun, and the zombies don't fucking stop coming!! So we end up holding it out in front of the long wooden table where there's a ladder leading out to the street with the machine gun. So we're all in the red below 10 health (three of us are bleeding out), and the zombies just don't stop coming. 3-4 minutes in we're all out of ammo and one of our guys dies, and so we keep dual-pistoling and meleeing the zombies for like another 3-5 minutes... and just when I think it's safe to go out, MORE FUCKING ZOMBIES COME!! (But we had a kick out of it) So I die, but somehow that stopped the neverending rush of zombies... and me and another player get revived later. Then a Tank appears near the safe house and all but one dies... and then the guy manages to survives with a Tank AND a Witch at his back - holy frickin shit that was crazy. It was the fucking Alamo during the panic event, I swear. And the witches have abnormal health as me and another tried crowning her with autoshotties and failing at it with more than 3-4 shells pumped into her at point-blank range.
5. The Boathouse - what got fucked up on this level was the fact that two Tanks appeared at the same time, and you can imagine our "WTF?!" reactions. We took care of them fortunately, but unfortunately we all done in later by the horde and special infected. Then later I got disconnected from the server and that was that.
And so that sums up my harrowing and crazy adventure on one innocent looking Death Toll. And this Normal mind you, and when I mentioned in-game if this was one a higher difficulty we'd be dead before reaching the safe house, one of the guys said, "Dude, you've underestimated it. We'd be dead much much faster." I had to agree.
And to top off this post, I'll present this funny video of the ball of death in L4D, though I think Valve fixed it:

My Brute's getting good. She mostly wins her fights now and due to Vitality boost, that saves her ass in battle. Still level 4 though...
The old school games of back then were fucking hard. I mean ridiculously hard. The original Megaman was tough.
With the fights, I definitely choose which brutes to fight by abilities: strength, speed, and agility as well as health. Those with moderate S/S/A means that they have some sort of weapon(s), pet, or special abilities. Then those with abilities that skyrocket I avoid because I feel that I'd lose immediately. That, and my spear/halberd owns ass.
