My physical disposition is pretty well defined, but since where talking about the mental, it's much more complicated.

I would either classify myself as a Boy/Girl, or a indistinguishable gendered child. I don't identify with either the male or female expectations of gender nor do I view myself conforming to it outside of culture necessities, such as public bathrooms, changing rooms, and (arguably) gender exclusive attire.

As for why I define myself as a child, if the difference between adults and children mentality is defined by their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom, ect. Then I will never classify myself as an adult, not only can these vary tremendously from person to person, but are limitless in their quantity. In what way, would you, scale these and at what point, would you define, that they pass the thresholds into adulthood?

So..
-if I walk around nude on my front lawn while I blast porno's on a over sized screen adjacent, to me, on said lawn...
-if I spew hate speech and show images of racial bigotry, picture of people who are a nationality I don't like being killed...
-if I shot off my gun, knowing "I could hit someone but as long as the bullets stay on my property" in mind...
-if I hurt and kill people indiscriminately for entering my area, for example a kid fetching his ball...
-if I beat my family on my lawn...
...I am within my right, because "ownership of property" is that simply and supersedes anything and everything else? Such as personal rights? (Scary...)





So the property rights of the owner, again, supersedes the right of the individual, and any law that prioritizes first the property owner before the person, is good.

If the person incurs injury, they can only hold the owner accountable afterwards, but it is their fault for accepting the job. Like if I paid a little kid (someone who is ignorant of the dangers) to get rid of a rabid dog (or person of danger that only I know of) on my land, it is the child's fault for accepting.

Any law that prevent this from incurring. Any law that makes it so that a person is prioritize over the feelings of entitlement,
any law that makes it so that the person does not have to die in order to receive equality,
any law that deems a person "continued well being" to "their life" is more important than someone being able to do whatever they want on what they feel is theirs,
is bad...

This is why I said theirs "difference in ideology between the 2 of us, and strikes me as a pointless conversation to have with you". Because I think in complete reverse of this.

I value a persons life before anything else.

Sorry I know I am bringing up the topic of the other day in light of a new topic arising. I'm aware our understanding of subatomic particles was advanced, easily 10 folds, by the desire to weaponize nuclear technology before the Germans. But the only difference that really changed was how much in funding was allocated and how much was left at disposal to them.

I have to look into Von Braun, but I believe these findings/inventions still would have been made, just at a slower pace (if "lack of warfare" equates to "lack funding"). As for A.I. this is a really controversial one, if sought after for war purposes, a country may easily "accidentally" create a Skynet without realizing. Advancing into A.I. is good (to me), but going too fast...

I'd want him to make miso soup for me everyday too........... Ahh! Right...

I like how they approach characters and situations from a analytical perspective. Really interesting and I'm learning! The cynical and anti-social behavior of the main character is loads of fun, I'm curious on how he (as well the other 2) is going to mature over the span of this series.

I really like Cinderella Man so far (ep5).
What I saw of Coffee Prince was ok (ep2 or 3, I should go back to it).

I've been jumping around a lot, I need to watch more drama's (I was supposed to watch Cinderella Man with my little brother but he... meh..)

Most of the ones, for the life of me, I can't remember the name of (having watched them so long ago). I just realized I started to forget one of my life long favorites (from over 10 years ago), I can barely remember what it's about, and I really wanted to finish it (site went down that had it, could never remember the name other than sister...).

The cliff hanger, makes me wish it was next week. Other than the toned down violence, I am really liking the anime so far.

As for a live action adaption... I'm trying to get into the xxxHolic live action drama, but I keep comparing it to the manga (first) and anime and getting annoyed/disenchanted. So I'll probably be waiting with low expectations so I don't get my hopes up .

How do you decide what "is the fruit of their labor"? On the factory line, it's not the CEO's imagining, assembling, and distributing products. May be a stretch to say based off your post but, if the worker is not being compensated a adequate amount for the labor they conduct, doesn't that make it theft as well? What makes the CEO (top positions) job worth as much as, they, decide it is in comparison?

By extension, when those at the top compensate workers, with very little, leaving those unable to support themselves adequately in this economy (Minimum wage, in America alone, not being enough to survive on independently in a great deal of areas), the "redistribution of wealth" through welfare (ect) can give them that much more to survive.



I don't have a complaint when it comes to a 1 on 1 exchange of a personally crafted object/possession in which the one who works on it can decide, for themselves, the worth of their labor (and when it is not something the buyer has no choice but to accept, for without, they could not survive/live in that society). But a cooperation is not so simple.



So you envision a society without taxation?

Also to add onto that. I could probably list somethings I view as "taken without permission/consent" by cooperation's, some of which are made into laws to prevent. Clean air and water, safe and sanitary work environments, human labor rights, regulation of food products, ect.

As well I agree with, BJJC, link that cleared things up for me. Here you had me thinking 46% of Americans were weaseling (through loophole's) themselves out of taxes the way Mitt Romney does. They are not equal, but this seems to be a difference in ideology between the 2 of us, and strikes me as a pointless conversation to have with you.

Sadly, killing, through war, to conquer and dominate others seem to be a human based constant that won't disappear anytime soon... I would love for more money to be allocated into science, (I would dance down the streets if every country stopped funding military and put that into science, medical and technical), but it seems like the only science (American) politicians are interested in is military wise...

CHT - That could be achieved without going to space, just put more work into faster, with better stealth, planes. Though I think completely stealth flight would be the most powerful, for example, a fully optical camouflage and radar silent helicopter dropping/picking up soldiers. In addition to Keirova's example, Vietnam has good examples of the faults of dropping soldiers behind enemy lines.

Lance - Their are possibilities for space to be weaponized. For instance, directing space derbies or rocks into certain areas as "orbital bombs". Destroying ozone over or directing concentrated amount (like a magnifying glass) into an area to increase heat. Hiding weapons in space derbies to be used years later, like a satellite with explosives that is intentionally left to be destroyed after it's expiration date with a timer set to fall towards earth some months/years later, to explode mid surface. (I know that since I could come up with this, others have too)

We may not be able to get out into space, at this rate, to even be able to set up such things...
